This Trump Press Conference must REALLY get under Prog-Skins... he's a little tough to follow because he talks about things as if everyone is reading his mind, but if you know how to anticipate his thought process and stay in-tune with politics you can follow what he's saying and meaning. It's problematic for him, because he is imprecise with his language, which means the nitpickers will put many words in his mouth for things he didn't actually say.
If that was a Republican man cornering a woman like that, Dems would be calling for his head and camping on his lawn.
Btw someone a million pages ago wondered why the Dems are going to the mat fighting Kavanaugh. That's the one thing they're being completely transparent about: He's a Catholic conservative and they believe he'll overturn Roe. They're saying it very publicly.

Kennedy was a moderate swing vote on the court. There are plenty of pundits out there stating that Kavanaugh very well could be in the Kennedy mold of justices. Hell, Kavanaugh even clerked for Kennedy. To burn this much political capital on a man that very well could not swing the balance of the court is incredibly short sighted. They would have been much better off holding their cards and waiting to see if RBG takes a dirt nap. Now when Ginsburg dies Trump is going to go all in with a hard core conservative, probably a female, and there won't be much patience out there for more of their hysterics.
They chose poorly.

Agree. Plus it has become blatantly obvious that the Democrats did not fully vet the initial Ford accusations. I find it hard to believe that the looked at her accusations in their entirety and concluded that it is a winner. The saw the initial claim and got so excited about it that they failed in their due diligence to make sure it would hold water. This one rests purely at Feinstein's feet.
