Same firm? Even worse then. Barring a trial starting yesterday, her original lawyer shouldn't have bailed, instead sending another lawyer to handle whatever court appearances she might have had scheduled.

As a puppy attorney, cannot tell you how many times I would have a partner drop a file on my desk and tell me, "You have a hearing to attend for me today. File, notes on position." Why I had to be dressed for court everyday because I never knew when I would be in court.

How come the below are the only pictures of the accuser that we see? One is from decades ago and the only current picture covers her eyes. Scientific studies show that one of the most significant elements in recognizing people is their eyes. Surely as a university professor she had a head shot in her bio that didn't include sunglasses.

Dems are lying, lying, lying, lying about the FBI's role here. Anita Hill's allegations were against a federal employee (Thomas) actively harassed another federal employee (Hill) became arguably a federal matter. Even then it was about a three day investigation looking for corroboration of her story. Then they gave the report to the White House and the Senate for their conisideration under their Constitutional duties of advise and consent.


This is not a federal criminal matter (unless she's changing her story) his high school and grade school friends and acquaintances have already been interviewed multiple times (6) and demanding they interview her but on her terms is stupid.

I say "stupid" in terms of lying to the FBI is a crime. If she wants to talk to the FBI go to her local FBI office.

Discussed up thread.

On top of the fact that Ford told no one until 2012, she also claimed that party took place during the summer. Since most people don't go to school in the summer, how could it have been the buzz around campus the week after?

I was reading the "much more coming" thread and discussing this whole thing with my wife and this is just a theory I have on this whole deal.

I believe most on here will agree that this is a show by the dems to delay and there's nothing really there. There is no there there. (Couldn't resist that one).

With that said, I really think Feinstein got screwed (doesn't mean I feel bad for her) here and didn't want this to get out. I don't think she really ever wanted this to come out because I think she knows Ford is not really credible.

I think she shared the letter with her democratic colleagues and someone like Booker or Harris decided to leak it to hopefully get the delay.

If it doesn't work, Feinstein takes the fall and if it works, it's "major accomplishment" for a young up and coming democrat who is seeking the democratic nomination in 2020.

I'd love for infighting and backstabbing among the dems to come out after It blows up in there face.

I don't think Feinstein got screwed. She miscalculated. She thought she could knock Kav out without this going to testifying and become a hero to her party. She chose...poorly.
