edit: didn't see Old Tom Morris' post basically saying the same thing.

Even if they asked her 'did Brett do ____ to you" all she has to do is believe what is asked is true to be able to answer yes.Prosperdick said:Can we also get a list of the questions she was asked during the lie detector test. I read Brett's name was never mentioned. Was the question "did something traumatic happen to you in your childhood?" If they're up front and honest they'll provide the questions asked and the results.Squadron7 said:

What possible reason is there for this?

Because publishing her letter in full is silencing her...or something. I dunno.
What would this do to help the situation?PanzerAggie06 said:
If they ask for another extension I hope the Republicans go radio silent thru Monday. Let them swing in the wind for a change.
That's exactly the procedure DiFi should have followed from the get-go. The moment she receives the letter, label it committee confidential, give it to the FBI background team for addition to their files and share with Grassley and his staffers for further investigation.FireAg said:Squadron7 said:aginlakeway said:Squadron7 said:

They could make it committed confidential...that way it doesn't go public...
There's something in that letter that doesn't help her story...

I'm starting to think she will never testify. Anyone else feel that way?
That way, after Kavanaugh is confirmed, she can go on a media tour and tell her story with no brushback. She can then be called the victim forever and will be worshiped by the left.
Then she is as dumb as a box of rocks if she thought for one moment that her name would not leak at some point. If she truly believed she would remain anonymous why would she go to such great lengths to remove her social media presence?? I mean, that was a damn good scrub.Bunk Moreland said:aginlakeway said:

How I've felt all along. I think she was told by the dems she that she wouldn't have to and she never thought it would get this far.

Their plan now is to hold off until after the midterms and then use it to impeach a sitting SC justice.
Al they wanted to do currently was try to get it killed and delay as much as possible - that failing it is now onto plan B.

This is stupid she doesn't need a hearing or anything she could announce a press conference and have 100 media outlets lined up for live coverage.
She could film a you tube video in the privacy of her home that would get millions of views.
She could tweet out a written account that would be trending in an instant.
There is literally NOTHING and NOBODY keeping her silent and be repeated by every news segment and show in America.
Libs are 100% insane.
Yeah, I've been racking my brains to come up with anything they could use to craft articles of impeachment against him. This accusation is not enough.Squadron7 said:Quote:

If they had anything they'd be using it now.
The problem is they are so rabid, it won't matter. They're already claiming he perjured himself during the hearing so that would likely be their main focus.aggiehawg said:Yeah, I've been racking my brains to come up with anything they could use to craft articles of impeachment against him. DiFi can single-handedly block a subpoena from the Senate Judiciary Committee. Now Goodlatte's House Judiciary Committee? Nadler would have to block it.wyoag93 said:bmks270 said:

I think the truth is keeping her silent. The dems are currently blocking a subpoena, but if she goes to the media again.. .they won't be able to use that card anymore. She will get subpoenaed and forced to testify under oath.

They want a full investigation which the Rs won't give them.
but if they retook both houses they would drive that and use it to impeach.
they're not asking for a "full" investigation. They're asking for an impossible investigation.Zombie Jon Snow said:Squadron7 said:Quote:

And they've given her every opportunity possible. They were willing to go to her and let her testify in a closed session and she balked.
So like I said all along, this is the dirtiest of dirty political hit jobs and nothing more.
