probably could order it. He has substantial control and authority of the cases in his court.oysterbayAG said:
Does Judge Ellis have the authority to order the US Attorney for EDVA, Tracy McCormick to give him the documentation explaining why the EDVA decided to not indict Manafort a decade ago with the same evidence that Mueller has used to indict him now ? Could it be two systems of Justice ? Pure Politics ?
Read the transcript again. The Assistant US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia (Uzo Asonye) was in the courtroom on Friday, at Judge Ellis' suggestion to the Mueller Team.oysterbayAG said:

Last week Thomas Paine said that a major new organization was sitting on a major story involving McCabe and Mueller, and said if it didn't come out within the week, he would "name names". Is anything coming of this?
LIke David Petraeus, some of the perpetrators of the coup, including Strzok and Page, were messaging each other by saving drafts in an email account that the other would log in and read. A way to email without actually sending the email in hopes of avoiding detection.backintexas2013 said:

Sessions came from the US Senate, which is comprised of worthless blowhards that defend the status quo.
Rand Paul seems to be the only US Senator disgusted by the Mueller investigation.

Grassley?
Very beginning of the transcript when the "niceties" are being dispensed, who is representing whom and why they are there. Ellis makes a reference to why Asonye is there...at his <cough> "suggestion"<cough>.blindey said:
I read his question to Asonye as the "and the horse you rode in on" rider to the "**** you and I hope you die" he gave to team Mueller.
Media related, is what has been implied.pacecar02 said:

I laughed out loud when he directed the question about the E.D. Va. U.S. Attorney office budget question at Asonye at the end of the hearing.aggiehawg said:Very beginning of the transcript when the "niceties" are being dispensed, who is representing whom and why they are there. Dreeben is mostly celebrated as a SCOTUS lawyer, Appellate, not trial.Quote:
A truly seasoned federal trial lawyer would have known not to act like Mueller's crew. They ded.

Impressive how smart and tone deaf someone that "smart" can be. I have a cheap JD from a rinky-dink Texas directional school and I know better.

Closest comparison .... Sheriff Andy Griffith running the FBI with McCabe as his Deputy.Rockdoc said:

More to think about from TCTH. Much of this is repeat from last week's article, but there are several new additions:
1) TCTH figures that Comey's friend, Daniel Richman, needs to be added to the list of 'private contractors' who were performing 702 Queries (Nellie Ohr/Fusion GPS & CrowdStrike previously).
2) Mueller interviewed both Admiral Rogers (NSA) & Dan Coats (DNI) in late June/early July 2017, and surely they informed him about FISA abuse. These interviews occurred just before the Rosenstein renewed the FISA warrant on Carter Page in July 2017 + it is in late July that Strzok & Page's texts are revealed & Mueller removes them from the Team. As TCTH says, it is very curious why Rosenstein didn't close this entire investigation down shortly thereafter.
