"The judge asked Durham prosecutor Jonathan Algor whether Durham would come back for the other 1,500 documents if he ended up agreeing with the prosecution about these 38 records. The court order granting immunity to Fusion GPS's Laura Seago has been unsealed.
— Techno Fog (@Techno_Fog) May 4, 2022
And here is the newly unsealed motion to compel Seago's testimony [in the Sussmann case], filed by Special Counsel Durham back in April 2022.https://t.co/Vg4ZdOP7fW pic.twitter.com/TzqEb2eaHo
Judge Cooper quoted from an email by Fritsch to a reporter in October 2016 in which the Fusion co-founder said to “do the f***ing Alfa bank secret comms story."

The judge said: “How is that assisting Mr. Elias providing legal advice? … That is assisting a media strategy.” pic.twitter.com/NUAqN0aDEn

The interesting thing is that Durham went to the jennifer Hodge in the criminal division for approval to do so. He could have gone to someone higher up but I think there is an understanding who can't be trusted at Doj and who in doj knows better than to involve themselves

This is how things normally go in criminal cases - the Govt wins most of what it wants, especially on decisions about the admission of evidence.

Of course FusionGPS’s and Steele’s role wasn’t linked to providing legal advice or preparing for litigation. But even if they sometimes wore a legal “hat” (not!), the party invoking privilege bears the burden of proving it applies to each separate communication. Ain’t happening. https://t.co/PxU63ctsRY

@nytmike We have learned in past year that Sussmann took Alfa Bank and related DNS hoax claims to CIA in early Feb 2017. And that Fusion and Daniel Jones were promoting these false claims. Was your story connected to these hoaxes? Is that why it doesn't appear in your book?

For those not familiar with Pacer, "missing" is not suspect--it means under seal or ex parte. https://t.co/0OZpDwU6Cg

What kind of things could these "missing" things be? Sealed indictments hopefully....?Secolobo said:For those not familiar with Pacer, "missing" is not suspect--it means under seal or ex parte. https://t.co/0OZpDwU6Cg

Perjury charges for each of the people filing privilege briefs claiming that Fusion was providing "legal advice"?Tailgate88 said:What kind of things could these "missing" things be? Or would perjury only apply to verbal testimony? What would apply to filing briefs with false claims in them with the court?txags92 said:Perjury charges for each of the people filing privilege briefs claiming that Fusion was providing "legal advice"?Tailgate88 said:What kind of things could these "missing" things be? If there are sworn affidavits attached? Possible. Anything written in a brief and signed by only attorneys? No.txags92 said:Or would perjury only apply to verbal testimony? We have the transcript from yesterday's fight over "privileged" Fusion GPS emails.

Key passage-
Clinton Campaign lawyer was asked if he knew of any emails supporting their claim that Fusion was "providing legal support"
Clinton lawyer: "I don't"https://t.co/Ry3rYm0TSV
Sounds like lying to me.Quote:

Sussmann just filed his objections to Durham's exhibit list, of interest is the Novick records. Jared Novick was CEO of BitVoyant through 2016, a company Raymond Saulino was a "Manager" of. Was he also CEO of Packet Forensics at the time (if there's a difference between the two)? pic.twitter.com/c3EnMCttKj
