This is what I mean by "sticky". I can only guess, wildly guess, as to what the hell is going on. But part of this is sticky for investagators. I still struggle with the slip and fall claim. By a millionaire who relied on casinos for his side of the sticky business.

I bet the service elevator is the only way to security and the vault.

Could be on to something here...? What better way to jack a few million then to have an active shooter situation 32 floors above, shooting at victims 500-600 yards away. Maybe....?

Two possible excuses coming.

• He was removed to prevent "misinformation" getting out

Again both are just more dirty pool and stinks of something getting covered up.

Read on another site that he used the service elevator to move all the weapons, and a bell-hop uniform was found in his room. I watched that Wynn interview a couple days ago (or whenever it first came out), and was a little taken aback when the interviewer was asking him about all of the security changes he has been working on for the past two years, and Wynn started talking about how the Wynn never lets anyone in service elevator without being escorted by staff. The interviewer acted surprised, and asked "Is that what happened here?!" Wynn caught his slip, that he probably thought was public knowledge. Obviously, he has been closely briefed by investigators and knows a lot we don't know. When the service elevator stuff broke yesterday, I thought "Ah-Ha!"

Part of the escape plan, I imagine. This guy was in Vegas enough to do some serious reconnoitering as to uniforms and routes that employees took. He would also spot where the surveillance cameras were located. An incendiary device could be used to disable surveillance in the hall way, covering his departure from the suite (through the bedroom exit) and then he reappears in a different hall way wearing a hotel employee uniform.

The plot thickens.....

I can see that as his plan. Based on that, I guess he was prepared to be indetified (room, cartridges, cameras, etc) and vanish, just like his dad.
