He shot himself in the head, probably sitting with a gun in front of him and behind him, fell back, and pool of blood engulfed the casings. There is nothing significant about the casings in the blood pool. They were on the ground first, then blood flowed around them.
Believing he accidentally shot himself in the head like that? The odds are so low that is a near impossibility so just rule it out.
Everything about this isn't some faked setup. Replacing windows from shooters on other floors? Arms dealer and deals gone bad? He didn't kill himself? Just think for 2 seconds and all the idiocy of these conspiracies should be apparent.
I've seen people tweet out (as fact) that he was a Russian spy, wait no he was CIA gun runner like Tom Cruise, no he was doing a sting against ISIS and got set up....
Can we consider maybe he was a lonely methodical psychopath with a high IQ and a bunch of money?
I think his brother was going to say, "Steve was a arm-y of one" .Ryno01 said:

It is possible, but the amount of money his father got away with from the banks was less than $500,000 total. (pretty sure it is actually less than $100,000 total but not sure).
From a 2013 article (I know it is 4 years old) they said most Vegas hotels including Mandalay Bay do not have cameras at elevator landings and hotel hallways.scoop12 said:
Given that this happened in a casino, there will be an insane amount of video evidence used to piece together everything that happened. I imagine it takes a while to work through all of that footage, but we should start hearing findings from that. If they don't come out with video evidence supporting the story presented, that'll just fan the fire of the conspiracy theories even more. The less we see in video, the more likely this is not a straight forward lone wolf case IMO.

Two single gunshots at 3:26 and 3:37
Seems like those were the last shots. Maybe those were the 2 that hit the jet fuel tanks? When they didn't explode he decided to eat a bullet.
Seems more like
1. shoot security guard
2. shoot himself
OR
assuming the conspiracy theory that there were 2 and security guard was in on it
1. security guard shoots him
2. security guard shoots himself to stage his exit and cover story

I initially dismissed all conspiracies but the more this goes on the more strange it all is. The weirdest thing to me is that no one can say how he got his money, other than a general statement of real estate. If that's true, people should be able to discover exactly what properties he bought and sold to make all his money but no one has been able to do that.
The facts are he had a low to average paying job for a while and hasn't worked in 30 years and has told people he's a professional gambler from playing video poker, which is the biggest lie I've ever heard (I won't go into all the reasons why but most have been mentioned on this thread before). It makes absolutely no sense that he's rich, if he actually is, and makes no sense how he got the money. So the arms dealer or illegal activity angle does hold at least some credibility to explain how he got the money.
If it comes out exactly how he got all his money in a legal way, then I would be much more likely to say there is no conspiracy. But everything about his wealth, and the way his brother is acting, screams that there is more to the story than we know.

If your frugal and not spending it. This guy wasn't.
Great video. Sure makes the case that the brother knew his plan and maybe discussed the details with him. Maybe, even should have been with him but backed out. His words give him away toward the end.CalebMcCreary06 said:
Don't know if this has been posted here or not yet but its an interesting take on the body language of the brother from a body language expert. Basically she says he knows way more than he is letting on

Unfortunately Charlie Wilson was my Congressman for a number of years...I was affiliated with the opposition.IDAGG said:So an accountant was recruited by the CIA to fly weapons into Afghanistan from Pakistan? Har Har. I doubt the CIA flew anything into Afghanistan with the Russians in control. Why would they? The border was (and is) a sieve. No need to fly anything in.drcrinum said:
Now we know something....

Wilson is best known for leading Congress into supporting Operation Cyclone, the largest-ever Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) covert operation which, under the Carter and Reagan administration, supplied military equipment including anti-aircraft weapons such as obsolete FIM-43 Redeye MANPADS surface-to-air antiaircraft missiles and paramilitary officers from their Special Activities Division to the Afghan Mujahideen during the Soviet war in Afghanistan. His behind-the-scenes campaign was the subject of the non-fiction book Charlie Wilson's War: The Extraordinary Story of the Largest Covert Operation in History by George Crile III and the subsequent film Charlie Wilson's War starring Tom Hanks as Wilson.

Who is this lady, and if they knew he was there since 9/25, what's the point releasing a 9/28 date? Edit to add maybe he gambled there 9/25-9/28 but didn't actually check in to the room until 9/28. That's a reasonable explanation.

Who knows. Do you think the CIA would fly a US Congressman into Afghanistan when the Russians controlled the airspace? Do you think the CIA would hire an accountant to fly double top secret missions into Afghanistan?drcrinum said:
Do you think 'Good Time' Charlie walked into Afghanistan from Pakistan? (click on link)
It wasn't a receipt for two. This has already been discussed earlier. 2 guests does not mean two people were in the room. he used his GF's card. So registration assumed there were two guests.LoudestWHOOP! said:Well his published receipt for 2 was on 9/27 in the same room.HoustonAg15 said:
