So we going make a bet on the 2 state solution? $100 it happens before Sept?
quote:You actually owe me money/steaks from running your mouth about Johnny Manziel prior to his second season at A&M. You made bets about how he would sink the team, get arrested during the season, quit on the coach, etc. (all of which never happened). So knowing that this will never get paid off in any fashion, I'll simply state that if a deal is struck in the middle east thus beginning your fantasy Armageddon-style world ending, that I'll wipe your slate clean and we'll be even.

quote:Well at least they found the Higgs Boson. I still haven't seen a way to experimentally test for God.
man looking for God's Particle while we spin around a ball of fire. Best hope we have a God.
quote:See, posts like this make me think you're really just trolling.
Hawkins says we are playing with fire. I think we are messing where we don't belong. All these stuff going on today makes the great flood miniscule as far as hocus pocus and all the while we are spinning around a rock that is on fire. Erie if you ask me.

The professor did add sarcastically, however, that such an event is unlikely in the near future. He said: 'A particle accelerator that reaches 100bn GeV would be larger than Earth, and is unlikely to be funded in the present economic climate.'
Professor John Ellis, a theoretical physicist at Cern, said: 'One thing should be made clear. The discovery of the Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) did not cause this problem, and collisions at the LHC could not trigger the instability, because their energies are far too low.'

I heard them from a HILARIOUS Dawson McAllister conference that some hard core Baptist end times friend of mine took me to in HS.

I believe in the written word of God.

So Sapper admits there are markings, of course there are. Nothing is going to change your mind.

As far as JM greatest in 2013, he would be the first to tell you 2013 was a disappointing season.

Man will not destroy the earth

Man will not destroy the earth
quote:What specifically are you afraid of? Man will not destroy the Earth, yes?
I do not trust governments with that much power and that machine is extremely powerful, most powerful machine in the world. What they say they are doing and what they are really doing are 2 different matters...
The symbol they use also gives me the willys

Lol. I love conspiracy theorists. Yes, CERN is out to get you for Satan.

In every civilization a great flood is spoke of which makes since because it was a great flood, there are signs everywhere of residue of a great flood
quote:None of that's true. Not one bit. The important distinction between science and engineering is that science is an act of discovery by a method of disproving through experimentation. Engineering is the application of already discovered theories toward a particular goal (which I tend to prefer, but the distinction in thinking is worth understanding).
, even the Great Pyramid of Giza has markings of a flood (which was designed by Enoch who was raptured by God).
quote:As an engineer myself I know that A&M does teach engineering just fine but teaches almost nothing of how science is and should be done. You basically get good lessons in physics and math and material mechanics. You will get some greater understanding of working with particular methods or materials if you stay for your masters as I did. But it still just a starter. I'm training a Phd right now from rice and he hasn't the first clue how to design a 1-story building (smart guy too), it will be years before he's ready to even help design a high rise. Your education just proves you can learn and provides (sometimes, I'm often disappointed, even with aggie grads) a foundation of the basics. If you are doing anything complex at all you won't be near ready even with maximal in-school learning. Even though all this that, and with years of on the job learning and schooling this Phd will learn jack **** about any sciences outside of our particular field.
God blessed me with an exceptional understanding of the sciences and I will not apologize to someone like you from the liberal arts side for this blessing.
