Squareone, thanks for not insulting me because you don't know me. However, I am going to stick up for my fish buddy and say that you don't know him either. So why insult him by calling a tool since you don't know him? Just my opinion on that subject.

To your note about me not knowing what I am arguing for and against. Maybe I may be lost in what you are trying to say. I did mentioned that I agreed with some of your statements. I am just stating that you are not seeing the entire picture. There are great people in bonfire, but you seem to fail to acknowledge that. Instead, you seem to be emphasizing on all the negative junk. Kind of like media. Media is just trying to attract attention and rile people up. In my opinion, you are playing the devil's advocate.

How you feel about bonfire? Is probably the same way as me (to an extent). Putting two years into it, you will walk away with great friends from it. You will want nothing but the best for it. That is why I am still involved in it going into a third year and that is why I am defending it. Cool?

Squareone, just refresh me on your arguments and what I am suppose to be opposing or supporting again since I am not doing so in your opinion.

Actually, there was quite a bit of dumbassery in and around Neeley. I remember, with extremely FOND memories, the Neeley grode yell. Back when it wasn't coed, of course...

Memories of those "angels of Northside" make this RAB smile to this day!

Sonic comes across as a very well-spoken and experienced 'kid.' Maybe I can garner some respect since I built 6 bonfires (4 undergrad and 2 while getting my Masters) and still participated when in town after I left CS for Wisconsin for my doctorate. Sonic speaks the truth. He gives me hope for our beloved school's future.

Actually, its still the same grode yell. It's very unsettling to hear my boyfriends dorm yell "in the ass" at me.

Thanks for the kind words, but you shouldn't be feeding me stuff that will make my head bigger than it already is. lol.

If I give you hope with a few words on a texags thread, than you should come out to cut, stack, load, or burn (unless you already have). The students who I work with are amazing. It is great seeing dorms in the woods killing trees, tractors pulling the trees out to load site, and all the redass Walton boys loading the hell. WHOOP! Than at stack, wow. The dorms who consider each other rivals, pick up logs and slamming them on stack.

6 Bonfires? WHOOP! I wish I could have help built it before 1999.

I have to say thank you Sonic for you speaking up. i mostly likely sure that something like this thread/debate comes up every month, but to me this just gets to depressing to look at. Mostly because everyone that talks here went to school at Texas A&M and in some way or form did something with bonfire good of bad. I also have to say good to see you are doing better to sonic.
