I think even Mrs. Coach has changed a bit. My wife said last night "She's kind of annoying". and I told her she wasn't like that last season, but this season she is all kinds of in a hurry and frustrated every scene.

I think Season 2 should be subtitled "Bad Ideas" because as almost every new twist starts I say to myself "That's a bad idea..." Not in that it might not be good tv, but in that it's not going to end well for the characters involved.

Saracen maybe falling for the hired help... Bad idea!
Landry's dad covering things up... Bad idea!
Riggins living with the ferret guy... Bad idea!
Julie getting close to the teacher... Bad idea!
Juvie boy living with Garrity... Bad idea!

I still love the show even though I don't like what they've done with all the characters. Still one of the best shows out there.

I am not saying it's not realistic for her character to be that way, just saying it's kind of annoying. I liked her better last season.

Thoughts on tonight's eppy-

I called Saracen and the nurse from the get go.

Totally expected Riggin's roomie to go Deliverance on him.

Julie is still a royal biotch.

Smash's scene was a riot.

Landry's confession is going to be good next week.

I loved this week's episode. I'm curious to know what others think about it though.

is the teacher that is hot for the coaches daughter the same dude from ER?

I don't recall the teacher being on ER...you might remember him better as John from Cincinnati.

The new teacher isn't from ER, but he looks a heck of a lot like Shane West (the doctor from ER).

Agree with Jim and Chi. Even if he had good intentions, he should have apologized for the things he was doing. He was definitely acting inappropriately. If Coach T knew about it, he would have had words with him for sure.

I saw Landry at the Conquistador with his parents after the tu game. He wouldn't divulge on what was going to happen to him.

So you interupted him eating dinner with his parents to ask about what's hapenning with the show?

Actually my brother did. He was friendly. Told him good luck the rest of the season and left him alone.

Yes. Very.

It's bizare how much Landry looks like Glenn Morshower who plays his dad. There was a moment in the last episode when he and Tyra are talking in the classroom and he makes a couple of expressions that are dead ringers for his dad.

Good episode. I literally laughed out loud a few times, was pissed a couple times, was genuinely happy too. Too bad we have to wait until after Jan 1 for another episode.

goodness i sure hope so. the look on his face at the end though makes me think that he's never gonna forgive himself and turn into a really dark depressed whiny landry. which is sad, because season 1 awesome landry is one of my most favorite characters ever

As for Landry's tv dad looking like him, they do, but I can't look at Landry without thinking of Randy Travis - dead ringers.

He was better as a sidekick.

I actually found myself nervous for Santiago during the football game. I knew he would make an awesome play but then the way FNL is going this season I wasn't sure they let anything good happen to anybody. I was more suprised that I actually cared. I'm liking the Buddy/Santiago situation. It may make Buddy a man yet.

ETA: Oh and what was that Buddy special he made up? Steak Ramen surprise or something? classic.

im glad landry finally came around and quit being a little ***** about accepting it was self defense. santiago/buddy is a really good part of this season. also since coach taylor was giving riggins a sleeping bag does that mean he's moving in?

If Riggins moves in with the coach, I'm guessing he nails coach's sister-in-law within two episodes.
