It was quick but if you re-watch, when they first go to the shoe store where ari is talking to that guy, there is a girl trying on a show and she uncrosses her legs and has nothing on underneath. It was quick, but I went back and checked and sure enough, commando!!

Did you catch how Dana's assistant got her panties all crazy when Vince waved at her?

One of the best Ari/Lloyd episodes ever, balanced with one of the worst Turtle/Drama episodes ever.

There is no excuse for a weak Drama storyline right now when there is a huge gold mine worth of stuff they could be doing on the "Five Towns" set.

The Drama/Turtle story line was unbelievably lame and predictable. They do need to focus more on Five Towns.

Ari and Lloyd make or break the show for me now. The last few episodes have had healthy doses of Ari and Lloyd, so I've been happy.

finally saw the episode. overall i thought it was weak. between Ari and lloyd, i expect Ari to not be so sensitive and to eventually be like quit bein a puzzy. the drama/turtle part was predictable and didnt hold any interest to me. and it may be just me but the guy that plays E seems to become crappier every week (maybe just the characters role), but who else gets the feeling this is building up for an absence of E from the show by seasons end (especially since Billy tried to make peace and has never been known to give in, and E still doesnt want to accept it).

Ive wondered the same thing but have realized there are lots of minor story plots that end without a true ending, like the bald friend who got out of prison. he needed a job and Vince gave him a security position, then after that episode he dissapear(or to be the best of my knowledge). I think the whole youtube incident is gonna be the same. we wont hear about it ever again.

Even with weaker episodes there's always something great like that.

It's interesting that you mention minor plotlines that seemingly disappear with no explanation, but this episode resurrects a very minor one from pre-Aquaman by bringing back the mailroom kid who Ari mistakenly fired thinking he was an agent who screwed up (in the epic "pick up your mother effing stuff because your mother effing fired" scene).

Here's something to ponder about minor plotlines from the early episodes. I was watching some of the Season 1 episodes earlier today, and Ari made himself out to be a womanizer in those days (the claim that he was sleeping with the SI Swimsuit Issue model, the "I'm thinking about hitting that" comment about his assistant, Emily). That doesn't seem to be the case in the more recent episodes. Not to say that Ari is a wholesome character, but he's portrayed as more of a family man now (albeit a foul-mouthed, hot-tempered family man). Is that just something that the writers decided didn't fit the character and decided to drop?

Theres even an episode where Ari says that hes never cheated on his wife in season 2 or 3 i think...i noticed the same thing in season 1 though. the writers must have changed that about him

I think that shift came about the time he needed all her money when Terrence fired him...they may or may not be related.

I watched Season 1 after having seen Seasons 2 through 4. I wondered the same things. I took it more that back then he was just full of it and wanted to make an impression with Vince. I wonder from the writers perspective if they meant for it to be that way or they changed their mind on Ari's character.

One thing I noticed the other night was that Lloyd stated he had family money, but I thought he worked his way through college. I think that conversation took place when he was trying to cheer Ari up after he got fired. Maybe the family just didn't pay for college, but that doesn't seem to fit.

I wonder why they didn't ever extend the Scarlett Johansson plotline. Vince talked to her on the phone, thanks to Eric, right before they left for New York at the end of Season 1, and they made plans to have an early breakfast when he got there, but it was never mentioned again.

Scarlett is so hot, that's one subplot that NEEDS to be resurrected.

RE: Changes in Characters

I've noticed this with other HBO shows. For example, in the Big Love pilot there is A LOT of sex. Now that kind'a continued through season 1, but was a little tamer and not the central theme. Season 2? Seems like a non-event except the kids and they aren't as graphic.

Actually read an interview with a Big Love producer this week and he acknowledged the decrease in the amount of sex. He said that that was the thing polygamists were least happy about with the show- they though it exaggerated their amount of sex.

While it was partly to appease them, I'm sure, the producer said that the shift was because the storyline shift. In S1 most of the story took place within the home, S2 has them taking on the outside world more.

I think it was better for the show too. Sure it's good HBO can be a little more racy, but there's a big market like my parents who enjoy the show. However, they didn't care for seeing bill paxton's ass so much. Nor did I for that matter.

I'm not one to want to see Bill's ass, but if I had three wives I'd definately be getting it on a lot, didn't seem unrealistic to me. Especially with the 3rd wife.

I agree...a few pages back we talked about Entourage's lack of sex scenes and how the producers would rather spend that time making jokes about sex than showing it. If I wanted to see boobs or a guy's ass, I'd just watch porn. Occasionally is fine, there is just no need to show it constantly to remind us you are HBO.

Their new show "Tell Me You Love" me is supposedly very graphic and shows to the point that most who have seen it are convinced it is real sex.

Tonight's episode sucked.
