Not to distract everyone from the e-fight, but just a few thoughts on why Redstone didn't like the show:
I love Ari talking business. The character is written very well and is fabulously portrayed by Jeremy Piven. Getting to see a Hollywood superagent put together deals and deal with talent is one of the things that got me hooked on the show. On the other hand, whether he's talking business or not, I love watching Ari. He's just as ruthless when he's trying to help his kids out, and his relationship with his wife (and therapists) is epic. It's a nice diversion to get Ari out of the office and chasing after the school headmasters every now and then.
As for Turtle, when I started watching the show I thought that Drama and Turtle were poor characters that dragged the whole show down. However, I quickly came to like Drama and his self-important eccentricities. Turtle has grown on me as well. Is he a deep character? Not at all. Is he a bum and a hanger-on that contributes nothing to the entourage? Of course. Does he perennially screw things up and waste Vince's money without ever attempting to provide much of his own financial contribution? No doubt. But he's a very realistic character, one that exists in every real life entourage (and there's more than one Turtle in a lot of them). If he were not on the show, the group would be missing something and the show wouldn't be as entertaining.
