I couldn't believe it when he said "No" to them starting over. Really figured the whole "starting over" conversation he had with his father, then she says it would bring them together.

I think he's pissed that he gave up so much to get her (his dream of a restruant/hotel) and it was not working like he wanted. Working for her father was not going as planned. He beat the crap out of that 'official' but he obviously didn't like it.

i thought they went a little heavy with the fake blood on his hands when he was cleaning himself up after beating the official. it reminded me of jules and vincent cleaning up in jimmy's bathroom. hopefully he had some lava.

Funny thing about this show, it surprises me most when my expectations are low. The first Jin/Sun flashback, I thought would be a bore and it was great. Last night, I didn't really expect much and it was even better. I disagree. I found last night pretty lame. I didn't care for the "Jin has a breakthrough with Daddy" stuff, and the dynamic btwn sun/jin grew tiresome quite a while ago. Sun is whiny and annoying, and Jin was a lot more interesting before he went crying to his pop-pop. High hopes for the hurley episode, though. We've wondered about him since the beginning.
Also, really lame that the kid burned the raft and locke covered for him.
As far as Abrams being a genius and Alias being awesome, gimme a break. Alias is one of a number of shows that would be really cool (Las Vegas is another) if they'd play it straight instead of dumbing it down and putting in a lot of hot girls with lame ass relationship problems.

Leftover Dutch Lasagna is too smart for television. I find it humorous that he/she is so upset with this show, that he/she is watching it in the umteenth week.

When is the next new episode??? This Weds?

Yep, Wednesday and we'll get at least 4 new episodes in a row and then I think April 27th is a 1 hour special about the show. The season finale will be spread out over 2 weeks in May, the 2nd part will be 90 minutes and the last half hour will be commercial free.

A word of warning. The 1 hour special about the show has some MAJOR MAJOR spoilers if what I read is even halfway accurate. I'm still hoping it was a cruel hoax pulled on me but I don't think that's likely.

Why would the special have spoilers? The special, from what I read, will be a way to introduce new fans to the show, as well as please current fans, by making it simpler to understand the backstory and connections of 6 main characters(Jack, Charlie, Sayid, Sawyer, Kate and Locke).

Also, they've updated the schedule.

For "creative" reasons, ABC has made the Lost season finale 2 hours now. It will go head to head with the finale of American Idol. Alias' season finale will now be cut to 1 hour, instead of 90 minutes. I hope Lost crushes American Idol. 15 minutes and counting until a new episode.

Please help us poor working late souls and give updates...please?!?!

Its a "locke-centric" episode...he is by far the coolest character

Tonight's episode was great, especially the "enlightenment" at the end. I thought for sure they were going to explain how he became paralyzed, but that's a secret for another time it looks like.

I no longer have a clue what direction this show is going. Its great. I haven't enjoyed a television show this much since I was a 14 year old watching Daisy Duke.

locke losing his legs was the last thing id expected - was he getting them back at the end though? boone was carrying him around, but locke was clearly carrying boone into camp...

I guess it's keeping with the theme of giving something up to get something. Locke had to sacrifice Boone in order to open the hatch. I know he didn't open it last night but maybe next week? Anyway, how bout his dad. What an A-hole.

great episode. i thought it was a little funny that they didn't go with older actors to play his parents. they all looked like siblings.

Did you see the previews for next week? It looks like Boone's insides are coming out when they tear open his shirt.

I have a friend who just called LOST a "brainless soap opera" for the clueless of America. He has earned my wrath tonight.

yeah i think the drugs are going to play into it somehow. i've never done it but if i found that and we were stuck there, i'd use it everyday.
