Tonight's episode should be worth watching.

I was quite upset when they offed one of the hotties on the sausagefest that is Lost. Thankfully they brought her back, but they can't keep bringin people back from the dead, someones going to have to die eventually.

I need help, my DVR did not get the last few minutes of the show last night. Last lines I heard after Boone tries to attack Locke;

Locke: It made you see whatever you wanted to see.

Boone: (on the ground, looking at Shannon) I saw her die.

What happened next, how did the show end? HELP!

Apparently the concoction that Locke applied to Boone's wound made him have that vision.

Locke asked Boone how it made him feel when he thought Shannon was dead. He replied that he was relieved. Then Locke said follow me and Boone got up and followed him into the woods.

Aggie Trapped- I disagree. I don't think the ointment had anything to do with it. Locke was referring to the "creature" when he said it made Boone see that. Locke is the only one to face it besides Boone but we don't know what Locke saw.

I agree with 98Ag99Grad, I think Locke knew the beast had some hypnohallucinatory effect on people. He experienced it when he first survived it, and it told him something profound and exactly what he needed to know at that time. Just like Boone learned exactly what he needed from his vision as well.

Now that was a very interesting episode. Walt is the key. I bet he caused the plane crash and he's responsible for the dinosaur and the polar bear.

Something else is responsible for the bizarro island.

Walt is certainly interesting. Seems like whatever he wants or wishes for, happens. The bird hitting the window got their attention when they he wanted them to listen to him. He's done that all show, getting his way or things he wants. Good episode and the ending was very good. Too bad we have to wait 3 more weeks for a new episode.

Yeah but you just knew that they'd end up doing something like that, they couldn't leave us with three weeks with nothing to talk about. I kind of wish I had waited til the end of the season to start getting hooked on it though, so I could watch em all at once like I did with the first 10 episodes.

Walt's mom was a total BEOTCH!!! They should have made her much better looking. Women who are like that are like that about everything and for Walt to constantly put up with that she needed to be much hotter then she was.

It kinda seemed heavy handed the way the tlaked about Walt. The polar bear being in the comic? Then getting attacked by the Polar Bear?

Could they be doing some sort of Sphere idea, like whatever you're afraid of is what haunts you?

Take in mind this is the SECOND time Walt's been reading that comic and a polar bear has shown up. The kid definitely has some sort of power.

I just hope that the writers KNOW where they wanna take this show rather than just make this stuff up as they go along. Cause if they are making up as they go along, I guarantee you the quality of the show will suffer and it'll get dumber and dumber. Infact, I was getting a little worried because before last night's episode, the two shows prior were not good at all compared to the shows before it. However, last night's show rebounded in a big way and it was a good episode.

Again, I'm just afraid that they will go 'Twin Peaks' on us any day now with crazy wacky storylines. Twin Peaks started with almost as much fanfare as this show, but then it was obvious that they were making it all up as they were going along and the show just got really stupid really fast. Hopefully, LOST has some real direction.

I'd imagine that they sat down and taped a whole season before they got started on this? It's not real convenient to fly down to an island for four days to tape another episode.

Actually, they only taped 13-episodes, which is typical for a new show. The success has caught them off guard which is why we have so many breaks recently. They want new episodes for "sweeps week".

I heard they were going to film a few more but I don't kow.

And that thread link above on the whole "loop" thing can't be right. The producers have repeatedly said all the things that happen on the island can be explained by science. A "time loop" is not science.

Everyone is one LSD except for Hurley. He is on hot wings. Case closed.

I have a feeling that, if nothing else they'll be able to explain the weirdness of the show, whatever everything has been pointing to. Whenever that's revealed, then they'll have some trouble. But either way, they have to have some idea of what the "secret" of the island is for them to be alluding to it so strongly.

and they've had enough small clues in the beginning episodes of the show (walt reading the comic book w/ the polar bear, him getting every dice roll in backgammon that he needed, etc.) Its not like they just popped this out of nowhere.

Another rerun this week?!? ARGH!
