I really like this show too. I watch it with a classmate every week, and yes next week's show looks to be really good!

It is the best new show of the season. So much fun. JJ Abrams is a genius. I just hope it doesn't get too complicated, like Alias did for a while there.

Dude, they're not getting off that island. That would kill the show. As long as they keep giving us episodes like they've had so far this season, I'm fine with whatever they do.

his last name was Rom. what would that be in reference to? Seems like some type of computer reference, unless they're making it a less obvious reference to Ethan Frome

The baby should be fine as long as Claire raises it. As to what would happen if she didn't we may never know.
JJ Abrams is big on anagrams. He puts them into Alias when he can.

Actually, (about to show my true geekness), in the first season, when they showed a city, they had a letter highlighted. Once you collected all the letters, there was an on-line program that you "decoded" to find a message.
Abrams also loves the number 47. It's all over Alias and if you've noticed, when the Marshall died, they made a point to mention there were 47 survivors.
Last week's show was good, but the weakest of all of them so far, until right at the end. This weeks teasers looked great.
They still have a lot of stories of characters to tell so there's plenty of material left for this and next season.

Tonight was really good. I was pissed when Charlie was dead. I'm so glad he's not dead. He's a great character. I really hate that we have to wait until January to see what happens next. Oh well.
No joke, I just started following the series a few days ago, and now I have to wait three weeks to find out what happens. So who thinks they know what the steel thing is?

Well, at least you can catch up on the show, if you missed any episodes. I'm actually looking forward to seeing the pilot again, to see if there's any clues or whatever, hidden, that I might have missed the first time around. I did that with Alias, and it was a big help to see the earlier episodes once the season was in full swing.
Make that 4 weeks, not 3, that I have to wait.

This show really is addicting. Just when you think you got it figured out, they throw you another curve.
For a while I really thought that Charlie was dead. The producers have let it be known that characters will start dying.

I think the steel thing is the French woman's "underground" hideout that she built from the remains of her original shipwreck.
Terrain doesn't look similar to where she was. I'm guessing it's more of the "other" people on the island.
I hate the fact we have to wait so long for new episodes though... I have heard that they are going to replay the entire season!
I'm curious to see which characters join the other side...
