Really surprised Elizabeth Shannon/American pie hasn't been mentioned. Watched it at a friend's house after it came out on vhs in 5th or 6th grade. Definitely first pair of tiddies and I was hooked!

Great scene, but most of us are too old for that to be a first.

yeah. 33. but it was still great.

When Dad finally caved in and agreed to pay for HBO I remember when the little monthly HBO guide arrived in the mail. I skimmed through it and located all the titillating shows I wanted to watch that aired after my parents' bed time and I would plot out my viewing schedule . If it said Nudity above the Plot Summary I would give it a go. Then I found "The Hitchhiker" with the Strong Sexual Content label and I would stay up late and watch at 1 AM and sit through 45 minutes of a terrible show just to catch the 12 seconds of the good stuff.

I remember well those Reader's Digest-sized monthly guides coming in the mail. Planned out a month of weekend nights based off of them. We're talking '77', '78, '79 right?

Those HBO guides still existed in the early 90s. We got basic cable in 90 and started getting the premium channels a couple years later. I remember those HBO guides coming in the mail.

Kids today don't know how good they have it. They want to see tits, they just search for it on their phone, it's all there. Back in the day, we had to search through a television guide for the N and S next to movie names, watch the movies, and then memorize the exact moment when the nude scenes came on so we'd know for the next time it repeated on cable. We had to work for our porn.

Look at the US birth rate, the data is disturbing. We probably need to return to an environment where it was necessary to actually remove someone's clothes (consensually, of course) in person in order to see a naked woman.

3rd grade on the playground one day out in a grassy area (school was not fenced then) in a drainage culvert a porno mag was found and word spread through all the boys and we all went over there in groups of 5-6 at a time flipping though the pages. It was more confusing than anything at that age.

Then another buddy about a year had a tree fort out in the woods and his older brother, 13, used it to stash his porn collection so we had that. Quite an education. Penthouse Forum was mind blowing. People really did that?!?!!?

Worked in a grocery store all through high school -- starting as a freshman -- and halfway through freshman year of A&M.

There was ALWAYS a Playboy in our break area. At first I was a little shy about looking through them, because inevitably someone would walk through the swinging doors that led to the back and walk through, including some of the old ladies who worked there. But I didn't let that stop me for long.

Maybe not the first time, but a memorable time was watching Romeo and Juliet as a freshman in high school. We had just finished reading the play and our cute English teacher played the movie on a vcr over 3 the next 2-3 class days. The day before she said day 1 would have "a little bit of nudity" and if you were uncomfortable, just don't show up to class the first day.

Of course, not one kid missed class the next day.

There is no way that would fly today.

I googled best 80s gratuitous nude scenes to see what we were missing:

Hot Dog The Movie - forgot about this. stupid plot. gret soundtrack. and plenty of gratuitous nudity. Girl jumps out of hot tub naked to check them into hotel, various nude romps, Shannen Tweed very naked, a naked coed sauna scene

Trading Places - Jamie Lee Curtis

Saturn 3 - a couple of topless and nude-ish Farah Fawcett scenes

Weird Science - when the vortex sucks everything out of the house onto the lawn a piano playing girl loses her clothes and flies naked out of the chimney

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers - several topless and nude sex scenes with Valerie Hartman

Cat People - Nasstassja Kinski wandering naked in the night for no reason at all

Fast Times - both the infamous Phoebe Cates scene and Jennifer Jason Leigh

Lifeforce - Mathilda May who is literally fully naked for the entire movie as she sucks the life force out of people

Return to Horror High - a bloody Marcia Brady feels herself up but thats not the weirdest thing in this movie; guy in a girls locker room talking to his gf when another girl drops her towel and he carries her off over his shoulder????

Mischief - Kelly Preston in a glorious full nude scene. Wow

Galaxy of Terror - gross and bizarre rape scene by a space slug

Sixteen Candles - unbelievable as Molly Ringwald watches and laments the perfect Haviland Morris in the school shower

Return of the Living Dead - punk rock girl strips and dances in cemetery for no reason

Joysticks - two girls playing video games topless for no reason and then jump in bed with the guy

Stripes - the shower scene of course, but FYI look for a deleted gratuitous funny nude sex scene for PJ Soles with Bill Murray it was sadly cut from the film

Porky's - the infamous peeping shower scene with multiple full frontals, other scenes like at the brothel and strip club

Private School - several scenes including a shower scene and a girl stripping because she spilled champagne but the gold standard is a topless horse riding scene with Betsy Russell after another girl rips her top off and she doesn't seemingly care

Re-Animator - truly bizarre a headless doctor straps a naked woman to a gurney and then feels her up before grabbing his own severed head and well....going down on her basically

Just one Of the Guys - how does a girl who has been posing as a guy show him she is a girl? by ripping her top off of course to reveal a pretty impressive pair she had been hiding.

Screwballs - multiple nude scenes like a strip show and various sex scenes, and a student at T&A High convinces freshman girls he is a doctor and they strip for his examination without any questions ahhh the 80s were great

This one was not mentioned but I recall it well - a bad horror B movie that ran on cable in 1980-81 which was right when we got HBO.

Humanoids From the Deep - several nude and topless beach scenes including a ventriloquist and dummy comedic scene in a tent before the attack from the humanoid. The creatures seemed to particularly enjoy ripping girls tops off before or instead of killing them

My older cousin worked at a theatre in south Arlington (Little Rd, Green Oaks Blvd) so he was able to desensitize my pubescent brain and sneak me into the good stuff.

In retrospect, by the time I saw Porky's (Here fishy, fishy) and Revenge of the Nerds (creepers with cameras in the sorority) I was way beyond the juvenile aspect of humor.
