Yes. Wedding night scene had boobies for over a minute. Not just the typical screen flash.

She was 16 years old when that was filmed.

"Slapshot."

The actress was Melinda Dillon, six years before her role as the mom in "A Christmas Story."

Band trip to Padre Island. Went to some mall in Corpus. One of our parent chaperones bought us tix to see "Slapshot" since a couple of us were big hockey fans. Woo hoo!

I think first in the movie theater was actually Police Academy. My buddy's parents took us to see it. I lied to my parents and told them we saw Splash. When they asked me about it, I just said it was about some stupid mermaid. They knew I was lying.

I considered "Zero Button" for a texags username, and wondered how many people would get it.

Just started watching Beastmaster on Pluto.

This thread brought back so much nostalgia, I think I'm gonna wear a knock-off JC Penny's brand Members Only jacket to school tomorrow.

"Blue Thunder" when they used their helicopter to spy on a lady doing yoga which was also my first R rated movie to ever see. My Dad covered my eyes but I could see through his fingers lol.

Splash would have actually fit the bill nicely as well.

Julie Warner in Doc Hollywood. I was 6. I remember my mom running in front of the TV screen to try and shield my innocent eyes.

These certainly weren't the first, as every 80s movie had them, but I do remember seeing Doc Hollywood in the theater with my parents and her boobs being on screen for an uncomfortably long amount of time. I think we went and saw the movie as a family because it had Micheal J Fox and I think it was rated PG (maybe PG-13). From what I remember she comes out a lake topless or something, and I'm all like, "Cool," but then she stands there topless talking to Micheal J Fox for like 5 minutes, and I'm thinking, "Dude. My mom is here."

I remember a lot of complaints about the nudity in this movie, because it was marketed as a family movie. I feel like Doc Hollywood was the movie that made Hollywood say to it self, "Maybe we're being a little too free with the boobs."

Doc Hollywood came out in 1991

Everyone knows the 80s lasted until 1992.

Either the pair in Airplane or Beverly D'Angelo in Vacation

My parents took me with them when they saw Airplane!, I was in 2nd grade. Out of character for them in hindsight, cant really recall ever seeing a movie with both my parents outside this.

When the cabin is going crazy and two jiggling chest hangers appear on the screen, my dad let out a long, super loud laugh. It's stuck with me, don't have many memories from that age but that left an impression on me. Probably confused me.

Wild card entry - Witness

Not my first, but it was definitely in the theater on the big screen and with my parents when I was 10.

The 80s were so determined to work tits into a movie that they were like "we're gonna even show you Amish tits". And that's all they did in the scene, just "you paid us money to see a rated R move, so here are the required tits, looky looky"

Jobeth Williams in Kramer vs. Kramer which was unexpected to me and my parents im sure. I was 12 in 1979. Not that she had big boobs or anything but it was memorable as she came face to face with his kid in the hallway the morning after.

Also that year my parents took my to the Hair musical on stage which had complete full frontal nudity and that was in person.

We got cable and HBO soon after and then it was constant.

And a lifelong obsession with bouncing breasts was born. I get it.

The movie was PG like my Kramer vs Kramer experience. There used to be little warning that you might see boobs until PG-13 came along (and that was initially for violence not nudity).

Even Jaws was PG - I suppose that would actually be my first now that I think about it but it was so dark and silhouetted it was nothing.

1941 was another PG movie with boobs in 1979. But I did not see it until later on cable.

According to a list I found these are other 70s PG movies with nudity:
Logan's Run
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Barry Lyndon
The Little Girl Who Lived Down The Lane
Jabberwocky
Andromeda Strain - was actually rated G in 1971

48 Hours in about 1984. The movie came out in 82, I think, but my dad rented the VHS and we watched it. I was about 10 and he didn't seem to mind, at least he didn't let on.

I don't remember the actress, I think it was someone playing a stripper or a hooker.

Funny how you can kind of tell everyone's age from this.

Porkys was my first in theater catch. Somehow talked my Dad into taking me to see it at 11.

Sure it wasn't the first. We didn't have cable but it was definitely a thing to sleep around the tv at friends houses with cable and watch stuff we were not supposed to.

I grew up in the 80's, which means boobs were all over the place in every R and PG-13 rated movie. Consequently I can't remember exactly which movie it was, but likely some slasher movie like a Friday the 13th or Slumber Party Massacre.

This. It's an impossible question to answer for me since almost literally every movie back then had tits down to the PG level.

I will say the OP's answer is a great one. That Doc Hollywood chick was an absolute smokeshow.

Taking a 12 year old to Kramer vs Kramer is practically child abuse.

Enjoyed JoBeth. But think I saw this around 6-7, and that scene where Hoffman gets super pissed at Billy with the ice cream really messed me up as a kid.

For me, it would have to be the 1963 movie "Beach Party" when Dick Dale's band opens with the song "Surfin' and a Swingin'."

Besides boobs I learned both how not to make French toast and how to properly make French toast. I also never knew men cooked or talked to their own children outside of sports. I experienced real growth.

But yeah Meryl can eat nails.
