We'll see how dark Mike White wants to get with the finale, but I feel like Rick's girlfriend odds in the desd pool went up. The whole hope vs pain speech - Rick inflicts some pain and pain basically won tonight. Feeling that karmic flip may be coming back on Rick to send him into the real darkness, which would be losing her. They probably just end up more the dysfunctional couple this show likes to end with, but we'll see

I think somehow Carrie is going to need Jaclyns money. I got a real "kidnap ransom" type vibe after her and the Russian guy hooked up. She has no clue where she is in the city and clearly seems like a sketchier part of town.

She got in a cab but most importantly she saw the jewelry he stole from the hotel shop. But he doesn't know she saw it. Previews are fair game and she's back at the resort and I think struggling with what she saw and who to tell, or not tell.

Yeah, feel like there was a lot in the previews for next week - I recommend not watching if you don't want spoilers - was it giving away too much or purposefully throwing us all off the scent.
The big tilt I noticed this week- they totally flipped Schwartz into a sympathetic character (as this show goes anyway) REAL fast. Like he went from one of the most unliked le (hard to do here) to, man I feel kinda bad for this dude in a hurry.

I think Isaacs has overacted the benzos thing. I know it's not the easiest thing to play it subtly while still getting the message across, but in real life they would be taking him to the hospital if they couldn't get an answer out of him regarding his behavior.

You don't remember going on a vacation with your dad and him getting so ****ed up that he's basically nonverbal the whole trip? Especially if it's a trip that he didn't want to go on?
I think she wanted to be the family rebel going to the monastery and her brother just stole her thunder. She's not the good person we have been led to believe she is. Also, I don't think she's enjoying the spartan conditions.
