Yup. Hopefully more toothpaste to be squeezed out of the tube coming in the next round of hearings with additional whistleblowers. Once its out, it's hard to get it back in.

Are A&M's core values..optional? Who has the POWER to determine that? Are certain departments exempt? Why?

Speaking of Kanye, I'd love to be a fly on the wall for him to get a reading from, say, the Akashic Records. Regardless of the validity I'd bet the reading is wild.

I think it's a real object, and not CGI, but otherwise I have no clue what it is. It doesn't look like anything man made but also doesn't look typically alien either. As in it's obviously not saucer shaped, tic tac shaped, or an orb. Which makes it look more alien in a way? The creepiest part is that you can almost see inside it, expecting to see some kind of pilot, but the glare and the low resolution obscures it.

I would like to know more about it, b/c it looks clearly cgi to my untrained eyes

You're looking at a stabilized version. The original footage is super bouncy, which would be incredible hard to do replicate with CGI. Also, the way the sun reflects, and the glare moves, it just looks authentic to me. Like an actual, physical object. I don't know anything else about the footage, though, but I'm sure there's more info out there about it.

Some believe UAP have been around for millennia..

Good presentation here by one of the top historians on the subject, Richard Dolan.

That said, it could easily be something hanging from a fishing line or web. I'm not saying it's not a hoax, just that I don't think it's a CGI hoax.

I agree with this. If outright disclosure isn't going to happen really soon, I would love for them to at least start engaging more with the scientific community.

It's such an insult to the intelligence of the world's premier scientific community that we have heard from ZERO particle theorists, general relativists, mathematical physicists or differential geometers.

It's not that I can't imagine things that fit that phrase. I can imagine MANY such things because we don't talk like this.

Do we mean Kaluza Klein theories? Fibrations over spacetime? Supermanifolds? Riemannian Immersions? Submersions? Large Extra Dimensions? It's that it is such garbage level language that it doesn't mean **anything**. Like someone steped out of a science fiction double feature rather than a seminar or a classified briefing with actual adults focused on the claimed involuntary surrender of military airspace to unknown superior craft.

I have talked extensively to David Grusch, Eric W Davis, and to a lesser degree Travis Taylor. They don't have the answers for me either. We look like idiots having super-secret SCIFs with no relevant adults with specialized training in the mix.

Show me a single high level PhD in the above 4 relevant fields talking about "Interdimensional" visitation. I'll wait.

This is not how we won WWII. This is not how we break codes or develop cutting edge weaponry.

This is how we pulled out of Afghanistan, made Harvard more inclusive, bet the farm on String Theory, built the Tacoma Narrows bridge, and secured our southern border. We are becoming a laughingstock. And it is totally self-inflicted.

We (still, for the moment) have and fund actual experts. Use them. Rant over.

Burchett, Luna et. al. are not the only officials getting down in the weeds.

Here is a good interview of Rep. Eric Burlison- "I've always had an interest in the topic and distrust of gov".

"Interdimensional being" isn't a term I like or use, since it assumes some understanding of their nature and of the relationship between our world and theirs which we don't have.

What people are really talking about are beings of unknown origin or nature that don't appear to exist in any physical form we understand…

Whilst I agree that "interdimensional"isn't helpful and probably inaccurate, that doesn't mean we should dismiss the possibility that such beings exist, whether in another "dimension" or elsewhere. Nor should we assume that an explanation for these beings, if and when it comes, will be couched in the language of modern mathematical physics (despite many modern mathematical physicists assuming they've got a solid handle on the structure of reality).

We could be talking about a phenomenon of which we are yet to even approach any kind of understanding. That fact does not make it "garbage" or "bullsh*t".

Why wouldn't the government want people who actually know what they're talking about around?

Weird.

Eric weinstein (I think that is his name) talks about this specifically on a podcast with Joe Rogan. It was pretty interesting, tbh. I meant to look up more stuff about the guy but never got around to it.

Until Corbell actually releases the part of the video he claims shows the object going into/coming out of the water (which may or may not be in his possession, I'm not sure), this is probably the most credible explanation. That said, I still have trouble believing the actual experts on the base wouldn't have ruled out "balloons" first, before officially designating it a UAP, but so far that's all second-hand info from Corbell as well…

The way he talks really annoys me. The guy could summarize a Dr. Seuss book and it would go over my head.

Can't remember if this was posted earlier in this thread or not, but pretty interesting video with him, Jesse Micheles and Hal Puthoff

I like Weinstein solely for the fact that he's a serious scientist willing to engage and try to figure this whole thing out. But yeah, he definitely gives off strong "if I can't comprehend this no one can" energy, and often speaks in ways that are first and foremost an attempt to let everyone else know just how f-ing smart he is.

Agreed. What made the tic-tac video so special was the corroboration from multiple parties witnessing it. This one on its own is nothing special. Also, I am confused on whether or not video of it entering and exiting the water exists. I thought I heard or read somewhere that it did that when it got out of view of the camera and was just "witnessed" doing so, but i keep hearing others speak as if it was captured on camera.

I don't think Eric was implying from his rant that b/c the terms that are being used don't make sense nor b/c he doesn't understand what they are saying, then it must not be true. He is just stating that it is obvious that prominent scientist either aren't studying it or that they aren't communicating within the agencies, since you would think the whistleblowers would have a better scientific grasp on how to better express "other dimensions".
TCTTS

Oh, I get that, which is why I said I agree with him. I should have clarified that I'm just talking in general. Often he seems personally insulted that this is a subject matter he can't figure out, and in the process has to let everyone know that even he, The Smartest Man Alive, is confounded. It's like he's finally met his match, and on one level that obviously angers him, but then it fuels his curiosity/desire to solve it even more, which I love.

Dimensions, accessing alternate times times etc. With perhaps 4-5 billion years jump on us, probably not whole lot they can't do. For us it's magic. It has been said these et create their own "dimensions" when traversing the great distances. Space/time..its all interrelated from what I gather.

Corbell is getting waaaaay over his skis on this one. Unless he can produce the entire video showing the full path of the object over the base and into the water, his credibility will take a big hit.

I almost posted a reply to the Weinstein tweet yesterday similar to this guy's thoughts. The reason I didn't was b/c the point about not having anyone with an advanced degree in one of the fields as part of the conversation is a decent one. In other words, I agree with both of these dudes on this topic.
