Regardless, these are small quibbles that don't really affect the broader picture or the fact that to have faked these videos would require blockbuster-level expertise in CGI (especially for 2014), all kinds of deep knowledge of physics, knowledge of US military satellites the public had no access to/had never seen before, the frame rates of those satellites, satellite orbits, advanced drone knowledge, etc. Altogether, and this would literally be the greatest video hoax of all time, one that stretches nearly as much credulity as the event itself.
Seeing much larger accounts posting this stuff lately for some reason. Still not sure about the video, the skeptics seem pretty convinced that the video was properly debunked and any decent game creater could reproduce it, while the believers seem to think it wasn't a debunk at all. I don't have enough knowledge in the area to have any kind of informed opinion on that. I did think it was a bit weak in that you have all these elements that are pretty hard to fake and then it used some 90's graphics for a couple of aspects of the zap... like, why go through all that trouble and then not create your own effects for the zap... but, what do I know.
Also, kinda wierd seing the a lot of rift between Ashton and the ufo community.
I'll be the first to admit that Ashton is a weird, divisive dude. On one hand, he's really, really good at presenting all the info in a clear, concise, and incredibly convincing manner. He's also highly dedicated to and incredibly persistent in getting all the info out there (which is why so many larger accounts are picking up on it - the guy has been
everywhere with this stuff). He also genuinely seems to care about "the truth." In other words, he's not making a dime off of this, and seems to have no other motivation than alerting the masses to what he considers to be a massive, unjust cover-up.
But man, he keeps drawing these completely unnecessary lines in the sand, to the point where if you even remotely disagree with him, he blocks you, pegs you as the enemy, and sometimes goes out of his way to smear you. At least on social media. Whereas on video, in his interviews, he seems like a relatively normal, chill dude. Super smart, practical, objective, etc. But on Twitter, it's all become too much of a crusade for him that's gone to his head, to such a strange degree. Granted, he *is* being attacked, and there *are* disinformation campaigns against him and the videos. Enough to make anyone angry/paranoid. But a good chunk of it is because of how he's handling himself, and poking the bear, so to speak, when he totally doesn't have to.
