I'm talking his immediate circle. That's why he always is on social media looking for validation, because those closest to him weren't giving it to him
Was just rewatching ep 9 and they mention an 8 game streak when toasting the Brighton & Hove Albion match.jeffk said:
How much time was supposed to have passed between the last two episodes? They mentioned a 10 game winning streak, which adds up to somewhere around 6-8 weeks depending on where they are in the season, but also I don't know if that streak was active when the previous episode's events took place.
As loose as this show plays with actual soccer, I was surprised that her speech is exactly the way the English think and spot on with what happened with the Super League.jeffk said:
I kept waiting for Ted to show up at Nate's house the whole episode. Glad that he didn't though.
Loved Rebecca's speech about soccer… almost as much as Higgin's remarks about chocolate factories.
Jamie has been such a wonderful character to watch progress this series. Coming to Uncle's Day, checking in on Keeley and then Sam, wearing 24; just a lot of work to show his progress.

I don't see a scenario where Nate can come back to the team after the way he left, but I do like that they show him attempting to make amends for genuine reasons.
I think he gets hired on at a different club.
