Man, what a heartbreaking ending to a fun episode.
Thanks for the words of inspiration.PanzerAggie06 said:Why did they have to introduce divorce?FTAG 2000 said:
Love this show. Why did they have to introduce an alternative lifestyle into it.
Would rather see Keely in lingerie again.
Why did they have to introduce mental health issues?
Why did they have to introduce negative familial relationships?
Why did they have to introduce out of control egos?
........because life is more complicated than an ice cream social at the church. Life can be messy, complicated, and uncomfortable. You'll be OK.
They're referencing Collin's storyline quite a bit and I imagine it's going to be a central feature of an episode soon, too many of his "ok fine I'll have sex with Zava" and "I already called dibs on that guy" jokes and knowing glances from Trent Crimm for them to just leave it alone.PanzerAggie06 said:
Nate's image, outside the video of the sign tearing, seems to have taken a small step towards the redemption that so many have discussed. He clearly is quite angsty about how things ended at Richmond.
And thankfully, for many it would seem, they only referenced Colin's gay story line one time. Hopefully this storyline just disappears. I'd hate for anyone here to be upset that the gays are being portrayed in any way. Although Keely and Jack seemed to "click" to a degree. Lesbian love story on the horizon?

Why would they video in the locker room?

Was interested in what others thought of this episode which is why I dipped in here.
The overreaction from everyone else was a good point, much better than my take.
My take: I'm starting to see Ted as a cu3k. I think his wife was smiling because she's relieved she got away with cu cking him.
At some point he has to have some fight in him, right? Dude is starting to look like a weak hokey cartoon. I think he needs a little on par reacting.
Because thats what superstar/mercurial players like him do, and he has a real life inspiration. He's the player S1 Jamie thought he was.Azariah said:
I don't see any reason Zava has to leave. He is not S1 Jamie at all.

There is one point that's really diminished the show for us. It's there being zero repercussions for the therapist dating a client. Sassy mentioned 'borderline unethical' when it came up, but that is FAR below what it is. It's rampantly unethical and his State's therapist board would revoke his license if they found out. My wife is in school for her therapist Master's and just had to do all the ethics classes. You have to wait five years until after you stop being their therapist to have any relationship with them.

That actress played a gay character on another Apple show.

Yup, that's all I could think of whenever it comes up. It's wildly unethical as a physician to start a relationship with a patient. "Wildly unethical" doesn't even begin to describe a marriage counselor dating one of their clients. It's straight up gross, and I while I don't want Ted to get back with her, I do hope there is a realization by her regarding how ****ed up the situation is.
Its the fact that the man who was tasked with trying to "save" their marriage is now porking the wife of said marriage and who knows for how longAgTrip said:
I don't think Ted should be so judgmental over Michelle dating someone when he's bedding Sassy. The fact that it's their former counselor is messed up but if it was any other guy, Ted has no room to talk after being with other women as well.
exactly...we have no reason to think Ted would have a problem with it otherwise. in fact, when he heard a male voice answer Michelle's landline, he didn't react negatively at all. he actually seemed amused by the donald trump voice. it was only after he learned it was the therapist that his mood turned.Mr.Bond said:Its the fact that the man who was tasked with trying to "save" their marriage is now porking the wife of said marriage and who knows for how longAgTrip said:
