No. If I remember correctly... the armor carries a charge, though, similar to an electrostaff, which makes it resistant to their charged weapons and lightsabers but causes them constant searing pain.
Mostly the design looks cool. A nifty evolution of the Imperial Guard aesthetic.
They seriously ought to have an Indiana Jones call back and have Mando just shoot one with an actual gun.

Edit: NVM, jokershady answered.
They've never implied that this season is the last, but there were reports a couple weeks back that Favreau and Kennedy weren't on the best terms, and that Favreau might not come back for season four (even though he's already written it). That said, they at least put on happy faces and appeared civil together at Celebration last week, so who knows.
Season 4 will just add more characters and plotlines for the battle royale in the movie like End Game

Yes, but that was Bob Chapek, the Disney CEO (before Iger came back), and people that high up rarely get involved with story decisions on that level. Also, it's not like Favreau is going to go above Kennedy's head to tattle on her or whatever. Effectively, Kennedy has the final say, and any CEO is only going to question her decision-making *after* whatever bad decisions have been made.
So what's the predictions for tonight's finale?

Given that the sequels have:
I'm going with "Kathleen Kennedy kills everyone" and gives her middle finger to the entire fandom and viewing audience
- no grogu
- no Mandalorians at all of any kind
- no Moff anyone
- no dark saber
- no TIE interceptors
- no mention of the planet Mandalore
- no Ahsoka, Ezra, purgills, Lothwolves, rooms between worlds, Thrawn, Sabine, Hera, Chopper (other than the implied crew of the Ghost in one fleeting glimpse in 1000 ships at the end), or any Dr Pershing

Why would the Armorer, a traitor and a rebel spy (ok, not exactly), help save Din?

Bo katan wakes up and rides the mythosaur and IA declared lady of mandalore. Gideon escapes. Mando fights the praetorians. Axe waves realized he doesn't have enough fuel to fly up to the fleet and falls 10 miles to his death. The armorer and the WWE chick celebrate by making out. Grogu says his first words in Harvey Firesteins voice

Despite all my clamoring to the contrary, I also don't see the armor being revealed as a spy. Although I still have to ask, who the heck made Moff Gideon's armor?

Think about the long pauses the Armorer had when Din was asking her about going to Mandalore to find redemption.
Did she hesitate because she worried about his safety, or was it because she was worried he would find Gideon's underground lair?
