I just caught up on the aired shows and I'm trying to figure out what was so bad about what Taylor said.

And Jasmine needs to go so bad. Fake accents are the WORST.

Eh, context is important. And fwiw this is coming from someone that agrees it was bull**** to gang up on Taylor like that and thinks Nicole and Daniel suck ass.

But again, context is important. The way the show portrayed it (and probably the way it actually went down) is Taylor thought Nicole was crying because of something else going on personally (mom possibility) and basically tried to say nothing was wrong with going home. Which everyone would agree is not a bad thing to say.

But Nicole probably didn't know the house was thinking something else was going on when she was crying. She probably thought taylor was just saying if the game was too hard or you don't want to fight it's fine to just go home. That's a little more stand offish, no? Now Nicole still went completely off the rails but if you just try to look from her point of view not that hard to see why she got defensive.

yeah but Nicole should have been more aware that people can't read her mind. not surprised though, as manly as she wants to be, she is still a woman.

It is nice to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she and Daniel specifically talked about how everyone probably thought it was about her mom.

Definitely agree. Why I still said she sucks ass and went off the rails in a way she shouldn't have. Just pointing out that there are two sides to that conversation and it's not shocking that she could have been defensive to what Taylor said.

Ameera tried to defend Taylor to Daniel but he was too caught up into Nicole to listen. Ameera straight up said that Nicole took Taylor out of context

Yeah. But that was after the fact. Again. I'm not defending the overall actions of Daniel and Nicole. I've said it multiple times and will say it again, they suck ass. Nothing would make me happier then Nicole going home this week and Daniel next week.

But, imo, people have said nothing was wrong with what Taylor said, Nicole simply acted that way because she sucks. While I agree nothing was wrong with what Taylor said, I can see why Nicole got defensive by trying to see it how she did. Now, she still overreacted, because she sucks ass, but I see why she may have been defensive.

But then Daniel said "it doesn't matter" that it was a misunderstanding. It was just an opportunity to go after her, which I'm sure he had been planning in his head for a while

Yep, use to be able to fall asleep at 2am, then it was 3am, then 4am. Now the live feeds action from 3 to 6 have destroyed that

Usually operate on 2 to 3 hours of sleep, then sleep more on weekends.

I'm not quite caught up (was out of the country on vacation, so I'll watch Sunday's episode tonight) and so I haven't gone back through all of this thread, but seeing Ameerah get voted out was great. I don't have anything against her, but it was nice to see some strategy, alliances failing, and new alliances forming. THe 7-4 vote might be one of the closest in the last three years.

So my question now is...how long does the leftovers last before one of them forms an alternative alliance and breaks it up. Michael and the hypnotist need to be exploring all option...they're very exposed. While I agreed with their logic last night I don't agree that Indy would have joined them anyways. Also I don't see why the rest of the alliance would care, yall are the first out anyways and the guys only brought you in for numbers

I also think the besties option will only last a couple more weeks max.

This last episode already sort of showed Michael, Brittany, and Taylor forming their own alliance. I imagine the leftovers will last until jury and then it'll be all about the smaller alliances. If they have their way, the next out should be Daniel and then one of Jasmine, Alyssa, or Indy. Not sure who they'll target from that final group, but Alyssa would probably make the most sense. Jasmine and Indy really aren't threats to anyone.

I don't know if I see the leftovers lasting long simply because they aren't that smart. Don't get me wrong, they've done a great job of blindsiding the others and I'm grateful for that. But some head scratching moments from them just in the last few days ....

1) when discussing with Kyle it seemed unnecessary to put so much pressure on him about Allysa going home. How come leaving the noms the same, voting out Ivy, and trying to convince Allysa to join Brittany and Michael was never an option?

2) the veto comp. Guess this isn't a dig at the alliance as a whole, more on Kyle. But damn it would have been easy as hell for him to throw that comp. Monte's team was out, Ivy and Allysa were the only ones close, intentionally miss the last one or two questions and your boo stays and you're free and clear.

Now neither of these have hurt them so far because Nicole and Daniel are may be the greatest combination of dumb and arrogant people alive, but at some point the leftovers will need to pull their own against some adversity.

I'm pretty sure, at the time of the veto comp, they were still planning to backdoor Nicole. It was after the comp and before the ceremony that they changed their minds and wanted to keep noms the same. So that's why Kyle was gunning to win the thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

E: Also, Alyssa is a much bigger target to take out than Indy. Alyssa plays a good social game. Indy does not, she doesn't win comps, and she has no allegiances in the house. Taking out Indy would make zero sense.

Yeah, think you're right, but still plenty of reason for them to throw it. Throw it to Alyssa and take any chance of your alliance to change their mind or any reason for Daniel to try and convince you.

Also, agree Alyssa is a bigger target, but not sure how much bigger. And the main goal was to get a non leftover member on Brittany and Michaels bestie group. That's still accomplished, you still get a member of the other big alliance out (gaining on your number advantage), and you aren't potentially pissing off Kyle and you're making it easier for him to agree.
