When this series ends the only ones I want to make it through are Starlight, Hughie and Kimiko. Pretty much everyone else is irredeemable to me.
Butcher with his family issues, MM with his, definitely a recurring theme that I think they do a great job of portraying all aspects of.jr15aggie said:
I really enjoyed how they used the "family" theme in season 3. You've got Homelander who has some serious daddy issues. Then you've got Huey who came from a broken home and thought his dad was weak, but ultimately realized how strong his dad was to just keep going.
In general the nuclear family has been under attack in more ways than 1 over the past few decades. I thought they did a pretty good job of showing how important families are, even if it's a non traditional family.
Isn't that the one with Schwarzenegger's son in it?PatAg said:
They apparently have a spinoff show in development called The Boys Presents: Varsity. Here is the description
"Young adult Supes are tested in The Hunger Games-style challenges at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by Vought International"
With some apparent crossovers planned with the main show cast.
They just announced the official title is Gen VPatAg said:

She didn't go crazy with it but I don't thing Erin Moriarty should have had any plastic surgery.

He thinks he's better at everything than everyone but he has no clue what EBITDA even is and it makes him angry to feel stupid. He then regurgitated it in Starlights face to feel superior to her and make others think he knows what he's talking about….when he clearly doesn't.RikkiTikkaTagem said:
Just got done and had some thoughts:
3. There's a season 4 and the way homelander drives this series while growing (more unhinged) as a character, I can't imagine him dying. He's really leaning into the business side of things, so maybe he kills soldier boy but loses his power and turns into a Stan Edgar figure. Or maybe he just takes TempV everyday to maintain his powers. Have no idea but it seems a little odd that they're showing him caring so much about the business side even mentioning the EBITDA to starlight when it caused him to lose his **** earlier in the show. Maybe he took Stan's words to heart about what true power is.
Something looks wrong with her eyebrows as well, I thought at first maybe we had just not seen her without makeup before or somethingGoAgs92 said:

I love this show and how over the top it is. The swipes at Disney, marvel, cable news, the military industrial complex just all great
But I'm gonna sit over here and wait for the posts complaining about the "this show is libtard anti-maga crap" posts.

Anthony Starr deserves every award he can be nominated for, for his portrayal of Homelander. He's taken it to another level this year.
One thing I enjoy is his pre-verbal facial grimacing. When hearing something he doesn't like.
My hope is that after that look someone gets a laser to the face.
I'm pretty sure he actually pronounced it wrong as well. I thought that was pretty good.GoAgs92 said:He thinks he's better at everything than everyone but he has no clue what EBITDA even is and it makes him angry to feel stupid.
