I'm with you. The Boyfriend is an all time classic and Muffin Tops is a throw away from the weaker later seasons. Same for Merv Griffin. Haven't watched it since it originally aired because I thought it sucked so bad.

Always surprised by how much love the post Larry David episodes get on here.

I love how Elaine gets mad at him on the plane because he's just content with sitting and staring off into space. Then, in later episodes, there are times he's just sitting in his apartment on his couch, staring off into the distance, before he receives a phone call. Hilarious continuity of the character.

Man I just spit out coffee reading your post. That one when Elaine calls him on the phone and he's just sitting there staring into space in his apartment is so great.

I use Seinfeld and The Office lines all the time, much to the chagrin of my family.

Every time my son gets a big sheet of tater tots or fries ready to go into the oven from the freezer, I holler "That's a lot of potatoes!!!"

I went to Youtube to go watch the ending to The Marine Biologist, and stumbled across this. I had no idea this was the first take they did, and it was based on a rewrite. That is incredible. Even moreso because the entire cast kept their composure:

That's awesome, incredible that Jason nailed it like that first time. Perfection. And kudos to the other actors for being locked in the whole time their expressions are priceless.

That was a huge laugh on the reveal and you can tell Richards is just waiting for the crowd to die down enough for the great lay out line "Is that a Titleist?" but his mannerisms and expressions there are pure gold. He had to hold that so long and remain believable. Epic. And the Jasons response expression is also perfect.
