How many of you are guilty of loving a shoe knowing you'd never wear it? There are so many shoes I think look amazing but I personally couldn't pull it off. My Spizikes fall into that category. I asked for them as a gift, wore them 2 or 3 times but that's it.

I wear everything I get. Some stuff more often than others. Slow times like these makes me want to go drop some coin on a "grail" from my list.

I help out a lot with kids at church, so they all enjoy the real colorful stuff that I wouldn't wear on a daily basis.

I've never not worn something I've bought or was given as far as shoes are concerned. If I was in the same situation as you, I'd be doing the same with shoes. Id also open up my collection a bit too. Unfortunately I'm not around kids or teenagers as much as I once was. I'm 44 and partially "retired"

I rotate through all of my shoes. I have sticky notes that say "dirty" that I put on the display case after they have been worn. Once I've worn them all, I take them out, clean them and do it all over again.

The one exception is my travel 1's. I usually pack those as my lone travel shoe (besides a running pair) and wear those for a week at a time when traveling.

You clean your shoes after every wear? How dirty are you getting your shoes after one wear? I wear my shoes like normal and only clean them after they've got a ton of wear or they were worn in some place where I got them particularly dirty

I hate cleaning shoes but I also hate dirty shoes so I've found that cleaning before they get too dirty makes it less of a chore.

Also, I'm a bit OCD about most things.

Im good about maintaining my shoes by simply avoiding walking in areas that are hard on shoes. I'll take "the long way" to avoid grass for example. Bad weather, forget about it. I pick my shoes not only based on what I'm wearing but many other circumstances like, how much will I be walking/sweating, will it be crowded/stepped on...

I've got a pair of shoes that I wear daily. I clean them maybe once a month. My hiking/trail shoes, which I use daily (we live in the country and I walk the property for exercise), never get cleaned.

Everything else gets cleaned the day after I wear them.

Guilty as charged here. I keep all my shoes in boxes and clean them after wear. Weather and circumstances dictate a lot of decisions.

I made these years ago amd haven't worn them in a while. Definitely not my best work but they get compliments when I do wear them. I have pics of some customer shoes I've done that I really like and will share later
