I missed out again on a pair of Converse Aero jams on eBay. They ended up going for 167 and I'm kind of kicking myself for not bidding more since they were in really good shape.

I'll try to get things rolling again with today's mail call. Did not have any true navys in the closet, and these caught my attention, plus they came with a pair of lace options.

Before I wrap these up and put them under the tree as being "from the kids", which color would you go with?

The original chucks were rough on the feet. They finally got the hint and upgraded the insoles and offer an additional comfort insoles upgrade. That being said, one if my favorite and most comfortable pair of shoes are converse.

They're black all leather John Varvatos chucks

So the newer pairs do have upgraded midsoles?

They redesigned them maybe 20ish years ago and made them way more comfortable with a slightly updated look, I had a pair or two I loved but they discontinued them.
