Sweet!
Nothing wrong with employing technology to get the sounds you want. I've been having fun playing around with the cheap little Boss Katana I got a few months ago. My Peavey Classic 50 2x12 sounds good for what it does, but it's not nearly as versatile as the Katana. Decided to do a few cosmetic upgrades on the Katana so that it looks more like a real amp and less like a Fisher Price toy.tk for tu juan said:
DallasTele might want to cover his ears for the next part. Also picked up a Line 6 Helix to keep myself busy until the football season. Will be turning a lot of "knobs" trying to recreate my favorite grunge, Zeppelin, and SRV sounds (will not be able play like him)
It's funny you say this. I've pointed out numerous times in this thread that I have no talent and just have fun making noise and such and take lessons once a week.tk for tu juan said:

I'm thinking about doing this to my Les Paul Goldtop.
It currently has very light creme plastics. I once played in a band called Black Gold so there's some goofy appeal there.
