So the fellas and I over in Star Wars-ville have been passing the time with a bunch of Pop Culture Tournaments (best character, best music, hottest chick) and I decided to move it into the prime-time part of the board.

The contest is best movie of the 1980s
There are 4 regions: Sci-fi/Fantasy, Comedy, Action/Adventure, and Drama/Horror

The seeding all done by me with help from BoxOfficeMojo. Each region has 32 entries.
For the round of 128, we're doing 1 region a day to cut down on the labor involved.

Today's bracket is Sci-fi/Fantasy. Here is the link to vote.

A note to those new to the style of game: Be as pissed and angry as you want about seeding and inclusions/exclusions, but I'm not going to change any of them.

Enjoy! It's been a lot of fun doing the Star Wars ones, hope this provides some entertainment to your quarantine.

    Wait til you see the comedy region. I had 79 candidates and had to cut 47 of them. It was miserable.

    That #15 vs #18 matchup is a tough one for me. I'll also admit that I'm the person who picked Star Trek IV over War Games, even though WG is great.
