Hate to bring up the subject but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ken Jennings supersedes Trebek (if he ever leaves the show). KJ is a little smarmy but has a good sense of humor and handles television very well.

...that is, unless either Steve Harvey or Michael Strahan wants the job. (jk)

Will never watch again if Harvey or Strahan host

Trebek was completely jaundiced and was a real bad ass getting through those shows

The chemo is turning his skin dark, the makeup is trying to lighten his coloring to what it normally is.

James hit 2 Daily doubles the entire 8 games.
He hit 6, Ken hit 8, and Brad hit 10.

Wow. I just remember two.
It seemed like only two to me as well. However the key is that according to that link, James only hit 2 in round 2 while Ken hit 4.

The line you are looking at is for the second of the double jeopardy daily doubles. He hit 3 in double and 3 in single. But most importantly only twice did he hit the second of the DJ DD's. So no huge double ups.

Plus he blew the easy one for $5000 which trashed just about any chance he had that night if I remember right.

There's been buzz that Tony Reali from Around The Horn and Good Morning America is on the short list to replace.

I like Tony in his sports roles but have a hard time picturing him on Jeopardy. He seems like too much of a goof off and Jeopardy seems like too serious of a show. Trebek made some funny comments through the years but it's a "serious" approach. Drew Carrey replacing Bob Barker, while weird, made sense. PIR was loud, funny, silly, and full of bits; perfect for a comedian. Jeopardy is serious, distinguished, and exact.

Tony Riali might be good. Trebek is obviously great. But I remember Trebek before Jeopardy. He was considered not serious, "Roll 'em Ruta" from some silly dice throwing game show before Jeopardy
