With season two of Shrinking finally announced, this is Apple's primary slate for the next few months, which is pretty insane...

08/14-10/09 - Bad Monkey - Season 1
09/04-10/09 - Slow Horses - Season 4
10/11-11/15 - Disclaimer - Limited Series
10/16-12/25 - Shrinking - Season 2
11/15-01/17 - Silo - Season 2
01/17-03/21 - Severance - Season 2

In other words, we get back-to-back Bill Lawrence shows (Bad Monkey and Shrinking) airing every week, starting next week until Christmas Day. While Disclaimer, the highly anticipate limited series from Alfonso Cuaron, starring Cate Blanchett, premieres just two days after season four of Slow Horses ends, and ends the same night season two of Silo premieres. Then the Silo season two finale will air the same night season two of Severance premieres, and what a massive night of TV that will be. Crazy.

Gotta say I also don't think this is in great taste. Or maybe put better, I have no desire to watch a TV show reimagining of those events.

OJ was different because it was 25 years ago or whatever when the show came out and he was on such a different stratosphere as a celebrity and the trial itself was maybe the most famous moments in the history of television.

This one is just... Nah.

That… is a really interesting trailer.

I wonder if younger me would have loved it or hated it. The way it reaches toward our world by painting a Star Wars suburbia similar and relatable to our own.

Adult me is… curious to give it a shot, but with low expectations. After how poor recent Star Wars content has been in the storytelling department, if this one doesn't grab me immediately, I'll pull the ripcord fast.

It's from Jon Watts, the director of the last three Spider-Man movies, along with the upcoming Wolfs starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. He and the best assembly yet of directors for a Star Wars Disney+ series, by a pretty wide margin, directed the eight episodes, and for that reason alone I have hope. Also, personally, I find the Star Wars suburbia vibe to be super cool, and at the very least it's something we haven't yet seen in this universe (or galaxy, rather).

Armored Core, Warhammer 40k, and Unreal Tournament episodes will be nuts if they do them justice.

For those that don't know Armored Core,

Definitely going to check that out. The Michael Imperioli & Steve Schripa podcast about the Sopranos is a must listen for any fan. It breaks down each episode and has every cast member, writer, director, and Chase on at some point.

That show is the greatest show ever made in terms of dialogue.
