Binged this again this week, and enjoyed it more this go round (albeit with a few jumps here or there given I'd watched it in toto the first time).

The trailer for season 2 makes it look like the Genetic Dynasty Defects against the Psychohistory Foundation Founders and Foundlings. One of the things I enjoyed about the first season was the disparate storylines. Regardless I like most of the actors (Pace was a pleasure), enjoyed the story, and am partial to the genre, so I'm in.

That said, looking at the schedule, for the first time in years, HBO's Sunday night lineup in April/May will feature a drama followed by two comedies. Just like the good ol' days when they'd do, say, Game of Thrones, Girls, and Veep back-to-back-to-back. Except this time it's Succession, Barry, and Somebody Somewhere. In fact, Succession and Barry will have their respect series finales on the *same* night, Sunday, May 28. Memorial Day weekend.
