We MAY be far enough from the original miniseries for this to not be judged too harshly.

Also, I still don't think Larry McMurtry wrote that book. I've read several others from him and they are nowhere close to the same quality. Dude stole it out sold his soul for one hit.

Especially if it meant the return of Linda Fiorentino

I always had an obsession with her and she was just elusive enough to make me want more.

Has not been seen since 2009.

Fiorentino beat out Rebecca de Mornay, Rosanna Arquette and Demi Moore for the role in Vision Quest.

She was also considered for the role of Charlie in Top Gun and the role that went to Jeanie Tripplehorn in Basic Instinct. If only.
