Agreed. Neuromancer not only shouldn't but can't be made for the screen, any more than Gateway or The Moon is a Harsh Mistress could be.

Random question, but why the "with..." and "And..." whenever titles are scrolling or on movie posters like this?

Is that something that is coveted? Is it too differentiate what their role is, like in this instance Piper's role will be limited or considered "supporting"? And if so, why does it happen sometimes but not all?

Do the leading roles negotiate that in their contracts that no other headliners can be mentioned without a qualifier like "with..."?

I know it's all heavily negotiated, but I'm honestly not sure how coveted any of it is, or if any of it actually corresponds to the nature of the roles themselves. Most lead roles don't use "with" though. Personally, I think of "with" as being, like, a glorified cameo, so it seems odd that Billie Piper would use it, considering she seems to feature prominently in the cast.
