Also, it's amazing to me that people exist (and actively post on the entertainment board) who are choosing not to see this critically acclaimed, loaded cast movie because a handful of texags posters didn't like it. It's hard to imagine how a person like that operates in real life.
I'm in my 40s. I got one foot in the grave. I don't have time for mediocre movies. And I don't think Pachino, De Niro, etc. have been all that great for a while. Sorta washed up.PatAg said:
It's more than a handful that don't think its amazing. I definitely don't understand letting other people decide if you see a movie or not, though.
I don't know about washed up, but definitely older. My brother-in-law made a good point when he said that they make some of the cast look younger digitally, but they still look old when they move. It is a distraction.aTmAg said:I'm in my 40s. I got one foot in the grave. I don't have time for mediocre movies. And I don't think Pachino, De Niro, etc. have been all that great for a while. DeNiro needed it the most. I may have said it before, but I really wish there was a way to get this movie done again, but with younger actors for the majority of the story.TCTTS said:
Yes, the deep fake version is just a bit too gummy looking, but holy crap it looks so much more age-accurate...
