I'm still confused that the Resistance "fleet" consisted of these stupid bombers, their flagship, a corvette ship and a medical frigate. What a sorry ass "fleet".
The bombers were the least of the issues with TLJ. But the first thing I said they appeared was "WTF were these bombers at Star Killer Base" in TFA? Point is, there have always been things in these movies that, if given the criticism that the TLJ bomber sequence has received, should have sunk the very first movie. I say that as one who finds TLJ to be the worst of all the Star Wars movies, by far. The original trilogy was far better than the sequel trilogy has been, but the OT still had moments that, if people were fair, would receive similar criticism that these sequels have (or the prequels as well).
