Rey looks leaner and more beautiful. Trailer looks amazing. Can't wait.

Holy crap, yeah I will sound like a wuss, but where it says "the saga comes to an end" nearly brought me to tears.
Star Wars has been part of my life for 40+ years. Th original trilogy was a large part of my childhood and defined fantasy and what was possible for folks my age, especially boys. The second trilogy, for all its flaws was the ability to let me relive that a bit (the moment when the music and scroll started was surreal). I haven't been a fan too much of the third trilogy (won't revisit that here), but after decades of waiting and wondering if it would ever happen, it's here. And it ends.
I only hope that the finale does the entire sweeping decades long project justice.
Sure, she reads all of the books, but in reality mastery doesn't come from just reading. I'm guessing a conversation with Luke will happen at the very least. That's what I mean by addressed.bobinator said:She has the books that were in the tree where Luke was. Seems pretty straightforward that she's the carrier of all of the knowledge the Jedi have passed down. Both literally, she possesses the books, and in the sense that she's the only living Jedi.Beat40 said:
I feel like this is going to be fun. With Luke saying they have passed down generations of knowledge to Rey - I wonder how that's addressed.

Does anyone else think the title is at odds with the supposed end of the saga?

Palpatine is BACK.
I'd say that might just confirm the latest theory we've been discussing...
Yeah. I think so.

Palpatine is just laughing at everyone that's gonna spend a ton of money and be disappointed for the 3rd time in a row. Roll credits.
They must have missed Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia, stormtroopers, the helme of Darth Vader, lightsabres, upgraded TIE Fighters and X-Wings ... you know, all that old *****?twilly said:
This is what I heard on the floor at Celebration....
"Why did they have to bring the Emperor back? Why do they keep going back to all this old ****?"

That's awesome. Super cool you were there to witness it in person.Brian Earl Spilner said:
That was amazing. It's hard to describe the energy in that room, for the entire panel, for every new image, and for that amazing teaser.
Got some great video of the crowd reaction, will try to post it at some point.
One of the better experiences of my life as far as pop culture and fandom.
Normies literally can not fathom somebody having a different opinion than the masses.wangus12 said:Made a whole new account just for that didn't youCee gee said:
probably going to suck like the last 2 movies
I would think so. Probably explains the one picture is of them all in a forest area and the adventure they have undertook.bobinator said:
So those Death Star remains have to be on Endor right?
Endor is the name of both the moon and the planet. Hoping it's on the planet for a new locale. It's callled the Forest Moon and that dind't look like a forest.bobinator said:

*Forest* Moon of Endor. Endor had several moons, but itself was a gas giant per Wookiepedia. I'm thinking different moon.
