Star Wars has been part of my life for 40+ years. Th original trilogy was a large part of my childhood and defined fantasy and what was possible for folks my age, especially boys. The second trilogy, for all its flaws was the ability to let me relive that a bit (the moment when the music and scroll started was surreal). I haven't been a fan too much of the third trilogy (won't revisit that here), but after decades of waiting and wondering if it would ever happen, it's here. And it ends.

I only hope that the finale does the entire sweeping decades long project justice.

This reads exactly like how I felt. I, too, have been a part of this for 40+ years; it has defined a large part of my life, seemingly; I enjoyed the prequel trilogy more than most, it seems, and I have been underwhelmed with the sequel trilogy for the most part. But this one really is it - the end of a near life-long journey, and I truly hope JJ Abrams delivers.

Sure, she reads all of the books, but in reality mastery doesn't come from just reading. I'm guessing a conversation with Luke will happen at the very least. That's what I mean by addressed.

That was amazing. It's hard to describe the energy in that room, for the entire panel, for every new image, and for that amazing teaser.

Got some great video of the crowd reaction, will try to post it at some point.

One of the better experiences of my life as far as pop culture and fandom.

i only feel comfortable saying this on this forum on this website, but on my 7th view, I have lost it at the sight of Lando in the Falcon and Princess Leia still alive.

I think she's holding Han's medal from ANH in one scene. I believe that was in TLJ novelization when they have a funeral for him after the events on Starkiller base.

In a way this actually makes sense because the rebellion/smugglers/etc would need places that can support life, but don't have a lot of resources where they would be a lot of imperial/republic/whoever presence

Endor is the name of both the moon and the planet. Hoping it's on the planet for a new locale. It's callled the Forest Moon and that dind't look like a forest.
