One thing I've been wondering is whether Greg perjured himself at the Senate hearing. Now that he and Ken are releasing the "secret" records, it seems they'll have to explain where they came from and why they weren't disclosed earlier. Of course, we don't know exactly what the senators asked him since they cut away from it, and I doubt the feds will be all that interested in going after a small fish like Greg.

Rewatching this right now. Absolutely brilliant. The dialogue and score are worth a rewatch a year.

The dialogue works so well not just because of how it's written but because of the pacing and delivery of it.

The significant other watches Gilmore Girls reruns non-stop, and there's worse things for me to have to watch because some of the witty banter between the mom/daughter is incredibly funny... but after a while it drives me crazy because their responses are just too quick. Even the wittiest people in the world can't just go back and forth with no pause like that, people's brains can't work that fast.

Succession has some of the same type banter (though much better written), but the delivery is all done in a way that you are never left believing that these are't real life brothers and sisters.

Is it too much to ask for a Kendall freestyle at some point during the show?

Just finished binge watching both seasons due to GG. So many things to love about it. Planning to rewatch the first episode now that I know all the characters better.

The final scene was entirely predictable but still surprised me. Logan's simultaneous expression of anger and pride was golden. I did think it odd that Greg was was following Kendall all the day way to the press conference but figured he was just playing a minion role...

Also thought it odd they skipped the majority of Greg's testimony, but the family seemed happy with it. Assuming that Kendall had already planned this with Greg, I'm thinking Greg knew exactly what to say.

As for the spoiled (Logan's biggest regret) children:

I hope Roman finds his niche as the "content king." They set him up for that in season 1 but was largely forgotten in season 2.

Kendall is the smartest business-wise and finally became a killer. (I missed that double reference by Logan.) It will be interesting to see what Logan does about the crime in season 3.

Not sure what to think about Shiv. I think Shae nailed it with her comment about Shiv believing she's smarter than she is. Shiv is given many opportunities to participate in business minutiae but always turns them down to do something else.

To me, Connor is boring and almost unbelievably stupid. Can't imagine any plot twist which could change my mind.

Recently started this and I love it. 2 episodes into season 2 and it's phenomenal. Cousin Greg is great. It's also funny having Brian Cox and Danny Huston in scenes together since they both played the same character in the X-Men movies.

That was the work building. It was where he took the call at the beginning about the meeting with Rhea and it was where he was during the shooting smoking a cigarette. That's why Logan kept asking about the safety of Kendall in the panic room. He thought it might have been Kendall that killed himself and that's why he installed the glass barriers on the balcony at the Waystar tower. Also to prevent any other employees from committing suicide. At least that's how I took it.

This was my favorite episode. I also loved when Tom went psycho with the water bottles. He snapped when Greg mentioned "open relationship" because it reminded him of his marriage with Shiv and how she slept with another guy while he was playing Boar on the floor.

The writing in this show is top notch.

just finished bingeing both seasons and this show is incredible. season three can't get here soon enough to get more roman/gerri hookups

I'm wondering if the covid crisis will be part of season 3. Hard to ignore it with the cruise line economy taking a huge hit.

Doubtful. Season three was already outlined and mostly written before this hit. They were about to start filming. And it's way too big of a thing to add/rewrite last minute.

Mark Blum, the actor who played Bill, the ex-head of the Parks and Cruises Division, has died of the Corona Virus. Thought I should include it here.

Season 2 is fantastic.

Heard that. Can't wait to start it tonight.

They are THE BEST.

I root for Tom and Greg to "make it" more than just about any "couple" I've ever rooted for.
