Ive read and heard a lot of interview with Melora Hardin, and I've come to the conclusion that' I don't like her.

She was on the ticket once and got all offended when they asked if she got a boob job for real and they would never ask a man a similar question. Then Donovan called her on her bs. That's not true. Mark Wahlberg gets asked all the time if that is his real junk in Boogie nights.

Shut her up fast.
I was listening to that interview, and I didn't feel like she was all that offended. She did ask the question, but she didn't seem pissed off to me. That was several years ago so memories fade. I remember she immediately quipped back at Dan and asked if he thought they really shot her in the head in Absolute Power.

I will say she comes off as one of those actors that never hit it big, but takes herself a little too seriously. Even in that article talking about the scene with Hunter's song she refers to herself as a "dancer" which is always a red flag.

Whatever. She'll always be Doug Masters's girlfriend to me.

I wonder what would have been had she not had to be replaced in Back To The Future.

Nope. Same Melora Hardin.

Quote:

But even if more is recovered, you won't see Hardin, who you might know from her work on Monk and The Office. Marty McFly's girlfriend did not appear much in the movie ("How 'bout a ride mister?"), and Hardin was dismissed before she had a chance to shoot a single scene in the role of Jennifer Parker.

Wow...saw that movie once in the theatres and never felt the need to watch it again.

Is she the one that makes the comment about the stereotypes about black guys are wrong?

Those were the days when after every episode there would be an entire thread about that episode. Might be with bumping.

Man, there was a time when The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, and Community all aired in the same two-hour block on Thursday nights. For like two or three years, if not more. I really miss that era of NBC, and I doubt we ever see anything like that again on network TV. I haven't watched a single show on that channel since the last of that bunch went off the air.

Network sitcoms have really tumbled. The last 2-3 years I have checked out the new show lineup and there is nothing even slightly interesting. The only new show I'm watching is Alex Inc. And that is mainly because I love Scrubs and am griving Braff a shot.

Then it has to be asked, which was the best lineup?

1. The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, and Community
2. Seinfeld, Friends, ER

3. The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court, Hill Street Blues
4. Happy Days, Lavern & Shirley, Three's Company, Taxi
5. All in the Family, M*A*S*H, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Bob New Hart Show, Carol Burnett Show

I think I would put it in the exact order you have it. A lot of those are more classic than the first bunch, obviously, but I think the first bunch is the strongest overall line-up.

The Good Place is brilliant. Trial and Error is really good too. But they're so serialized that they can only produce truncated seasons that aren't suited to carry a Thursday night lineup from the beginning of fall until the end of the summer.

I really enjoyed Great News... it has a 30 Rock vibe. But last I heard it's in serious danger of cancellation. Superstore is basically the Office in a Wal-Mart, but I'm really enjoying it.

The funny thing is that those shows had pretty poor ratings and the majority of them would've likely been cancelled early on if NBC wasn't in such poor shape in prime time at the time. They just didn't have anything more popular to air.

Mine was as well. She couldn't finish it.

I watch the office a lot. An obnoxious amount.

And I always find myself thinking how there's no way that it would be aired in 2018 as a new show on network TV. Michael would be "offensive".

We've been watching it all the way through again. Currently early in to season 8. Robert California is a brilliant character done superbly by Spader. Watched the "Garden Party" episode last night, and it holds up against any early season episode.

You left 'Mad About You" off your early/mid 90's lineup. That was a STRONG lineup.

I am binging the series as I'm dooee up and sleeping on and off.

Watch Diwali and Kelly parents are trying to set her up with doctor.

It's the same actor from Hero's and the same actor she left Ryan for and dumped the baby with in the finale.

Brooklyn 99 is probably the best sitcom on the major channels right now. It would have held up in that golden era lineup, imo.

4. Happy Days, Lavern & Shirley, Three's Company, Taxi
