And then Michael Photoshopping his head onto one of Carol's old family pictures and sending it out as a Christmas card. Wow.

So, i had surgery last week, and was in and out on pain meds, so I decided to binge a show I have seen. If I fell asleep, no big deal.

I randomly started with Season 3 and got into 4.

I went back to season 2 after and watched a few.

Got to Fire Drill last night.

They play the game, Desert Island. They have to name 5 DVDs they bring to the island.

I had seen or at least seen parts of every move mentioned.

This was 2006.

It had me thinking, if this show was in 2018, would i have even seen 1/8 of the movies mentioned? Would we even ask that question now?

It seems to me everyone went to BB and rented the same movies. If I had been sick in 2006, I would've gone to BB and rented a bunch of movies. We didn't binge watch shows, and have so many shows to watch that we don't watch as many movies. Almost all the streaming sites today are geared more to shows. We would rather play our fee monthly than to pay to download a movie.

Or is it just me at 46 versus 34?

so many good episodes in seasons 5 and 6...and 7. "the office sucks after season 4" is probably the most annoying take of all time.

season 6 may be my favorite.

The absence of Michael Scott hurt, but Robert California was a great character, and Spader really pulled it off like nobody else could.

I read there is a fan theory that Robert California was actually a previous alias of Raymond Reddington, since both characters could simultaneously exist in the NBC universe.

but thats post season 7. A large contingent of people think the show fell off with 3 seasons of Michael left to go.

I never felt it was horrible, fell off, but not bad, until the last season. That whole Jim/Pam deal was bad. Then they completely redeemed it in the finale.

I have no idea what this means...

you would be hard pressed to find someone who has watched seasons 1-7 more than I have. but I have never watched passed Michael leaving.

jim is in philadelphia and its hard on pam

she opens up to one of the camera guys who is supposedly friends with both she and jim

the camera guy has a crush on pam and it gets weird.

just a huge stretch of a plotline.

I'm finishing up season 5 for the who-knows-how-many-th time. Season 5 is fantastic all the way through. Season 6 has a ton of great episodes. I still think season 7 is pretty solid too.

I actually like season 9 quite a bit too. Season 8 is always tough for me to get through though.
