Got to see MJ.
Very good show. Highly entertaining. Our lead was really good. When he sang with Momma Jackson, several duets, it was superb. They have very good chemistry.
The story line, how they presented MJ's history, was well done. Built around the preparation for hiss Dangerous Tour in '92-'93. An interview team was following him, asking questions about his life and the songs. This provided some flashbacks of his family dynamic.
It was not too political. No race stuff. No LGB stuff. There was a little bit of environment stuff, but that was MJ's thing. Therefore, it was a very non-political entertaining show.
I will give it a 4 out of 5. It will not break into the top 10. Why? If they are going to bring in some history, his father, drugs, etc., then they should answer some of these history issues. I don't believe they closed these issues throughout the show. Also, even though I love the music and enjoyed the presentation, I thought there could have been more. We are talking about MJ, I think the Beat It, Bad,and Billy Jean sets could have been better done. Thriller and Smooth Criminal were fantastic. Man in the Mirror was greatly done with the multiple ensembles. However, in total, there could have been better sets/presentation of several songs. I might be asking for too much when there are 30+ songs to perform.
Anyhow, great show that is definitely worth a see.
