Fast Fred was a legend here & I am truly sorry for your loss. His recollection of film & music was amazing... encyclopedic. He often noted similarities from works completed decades apart. His reviews were honest & thoughtful and often hilarious. This is a lesser community without him & I wish I could've met him in person.

My condolences to the Graham family. Fast Fred was a GREAT poster here. He had some great stories to tell, and I enjoyed his movie reviews a lot. The TexAgs community took a hit with this loss.

Very sorry to hear OP, thoughts and condolences to you and your family. Fred was a true gentleman, and one of the most knowledgeable music folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He came out to our shows a time or 2 in Austin (well, Pflugerville), and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking with him. His wit, humor, and gift of prose will be extremely missed on this board.

Thank you very much for letting us know, we appreciate it. The Entertainment board got a little less so today...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I am glad to read that you got to spend some good time with your father before he passed. That time will be precious to you and your family, and I am certain that it was for your father as well.

I enjoyed reading your dad's movie reviews/stories, and although I did not know your father personally, I feel like I've lost a familiar companion (through this website).
