Just saw the extended trailer before BABY DRIVER. I cannot wait to see the new BLADE RUNNER. I cannot remember the last time I was looking forward to seeing a movie this much.

This has to feature the best cinematography of the year. I can't imagine another movie topping it.

No doubt. Looks beautiful.

I have no idea if I'm looking forward more to this or Dunkirk, they are both at about a 10 on the anticipation meter for me. Villeneuve is probably my favorite new director of the last 5 years with this, Arrival, Sicario, and Prisoners (still haven't seen Enemy.) Looks like he studied at the Fincher school of cinematography, it just looks gorgeous. If there is a guy that seems capable of taking on Dune, it's him. It's rare that a trailer just blows my mind, but damn. Plus, the music in the trailer, just wow. Sounds like it was done by the same team that did the opening credits music for Stranger Things.

Ridley Scott can make some DAMN BEAUTIFUL movies, but he is a **** narrative director. Many of his last outings have just been outright horrible stories.

Scott is only producing. This is all Villeneuve / Hampton Fancher (writer of both the sequel and the original). I'm sure Scott had a decent amount of influence, but from my understanding he let everyone do their thing for the most part.

Roger Deakins is a cinematography god. The lighting and scope of this looks incredible.

I saw 6.10.17 at the end of the trailer and no lie I thought I missed the theatrical release. Like that dream most people have when you show up to a college final exam without having attended a single class all semester long...
