I think Jon will the first man Dany meets who's action speak louder than his words.

That might go a long way in waking the dragon, if you catch my drift.

Side note,
Had a buddy bed a chick he met at the ptarmigan back in college who had a dragon tattoo that ended at her business...

I also think there's a chance Sansa is pregnant with Ramsey's baby.

(I seriously hope that I'm wrong about this)
Yeah I think like 5-6 months have passed in the show...

Look how far Jorah has progressed. Sand snake has much longer hair. People have traveled all over the place. Etc. We would know by now, in my opinion.

I like the idea of The Hound telling Arya or Sansa about Littlefinger.
Oh this would be sweet... The Hound shows up, and says something like "You're going to trust this **** man on your council? **** him."
Sansa: "What are you talking about Dog?"
Sandor: "Little Bird, he setup your father. He's why Ned's dead."
Sansa: "Off with his head!"
Arya: <snick>

What powers will Sansa have? She's the only Stark without a special power... (in the show)

Jon - Resurrecting
Bran - Warg / Green Seer
Arya - faceless woman
Sansa - ? (manipulation is a skill not a power)

Her p***y power has been getting her married or nearly married all over the realm, and she only had to actually wield it with Ramsey.

Wasn't Dany's first child just due to the curse from the crazy woman? She just hasn't actually tried to have a kid since then?

There's that whole cycle thing that women pay attention to. Pretty sure she's smart enough to realize how to not get preggers.

Even better if this takes place in the dining hall with the Hound covering down on two whole roasted chickens and giant tankard of ale, doesn't even look up from his meal, and talking with his mouth full.

"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. Only then would her womb quicken once again..."

^definitely doesn't seem like Dany will be having kids if the witches prophecy is believed. Although there are theories that justify it can happen...because of course there are.

If she remarries it'll be for love, not power.
What about stability of the realm? That will require children, so there is an orderly transfer of power from mother to child. She will need to marry, and soon.

Going back to Dany and Jon's alliance, I could also see it playing out that Jon decides to abdicate his throne (or wardship) to Sansa and join Dany as Captain of the Queensguard. It would be a fitting destiny for a guy who's already dedicated his life to protecting people. So for those hung up on the romantic aspect of Aunt/Nephew, there's another possibility I could see happening.

Or of course there's always the possibility that he transcends to Azor Ahai, fulfills the prophecy in fighting back the night, and sacrifices himself for the realm leaving Dany or Tyrion or Sansa to pick up the pieces. There's a million ways this could play out but it all starts with a Jon & Dany alliance.

Did they use that quote in the show and change it up like that? In the books its about Khal Drogo returning.

"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east," said Mirri Maz Duur. "When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before."

In the books she has been pregnant again. She flees the fighting pits in Meeren on Drogon and then has a miscarriage just before being captured by the Dothraki.

That was word for word in the show, but it was in response to Drogo's condition...so I guess it's not impossible.

The show's wiki page for Mirri Maz Durr doesn't have the womb quickening part, and its about what has to happen for Drogo to be as he was and not about what has to happen for her to have a child.

Quote:

Daenerys asks desperately when will Drogo be as he was, and Duur answers: "When the sun rises in the west, sets in the east when the seas go dry. When the mountains blow in the wind like leaves". Duur explains that Daenerys got what she traded for, and that before she was "saved" by Daenerys, she had already been raped several times and her temple had been burned.

Help me remember...

I'm trying to think, but I believe Varys appeared in Meereen after the Sons of the Harpy tried to gank Dany in the fighting pit and she took off on Drogon. He was with Grey Worm, Tyrion, and Missandei after that, but Dany was gone. Right before Dany shows back up, Varys has taken off for Dorne after recruiting the red priests.

So when did Dany and Varys actually meet for the first time? On the ship to Dragonstone?

correct....they were never even in the same city that we know of until just before sailing for Westeros

Dany early on stayed in the home of Illyrio who is Varys close friend but he was not there. Varys was in Westeros except briefly when he smuggled Tyrion over to Essos but we saw no meeting at that time.

Varys turned up in Mereen to help Tyrion just after Dany had flown off on Drogon and went to the Dothraki.

Varys left just before she returned to go solicit help from Dorne with Olenna and Ellaria. He was not there when Dany met with Tyrion, confronted the masters or when Theon and Yara were there.

So Varys presumably came back in the interim but was unseen before they sailed for Westeros/Dragonstone. I would assume they met before they boarded but who knows.

Mountains blow in the wind = being turned to ash by a dragon and blowing away (like in a Roadrunner/Wile E Coyote cartoon)
