They mentioned that they wanted to tie in the zero-matter with something on AoS to make Agent Carter's story relevant in some capacity, but I don't remember reading much more than that from articles.

Ghost Rider is one of Marvel's best characters. He's basically a supernatural and superpowered version of the Punisher. Though he would kill the Punisher outright if he ever saw him.

I agree he really needs his own show.

No comic equivalent for the ghosts, but the Darkhold is a real thing in the comics.

Can't agree enough with how awesome Ghost Rider is. "Time to pay for your sins" gave me a rush of adrenaline. I also laughed when he caught the chain and was all "huh."

Yep. This season has been really good. The inclusion of Ghost Rider has been phenomenal. I hope they really go into detail about who he is because the reality of Ghost Rider actually existing should terrify the crap out of everyone that knows about him and because he proves the existence of magical/supernatural that is not related to aliens.

Ditto. I find myself in anticipation on Ghost going Ghost on some fools. Kinda wish he had taken on all the watchdogs and Quake and Fitz take out the Aussie. I really hope they give us some epic fights scenes with Ghost later in the season.

And I completely agree that Netflix should pick up Ghost Rider and make it a new series.

+1 on Ghost Rider, he has been way better than I expected. I totally geeked out when he caught the chain.

One of the biggest faults (only fault?) of Marvel has been that the villains almost always have the same powers as the hero. This is why those villians that don't are the memorable ones (Loki / Thor, Fisk / DD, Murdercorpse / JJ). All that to say: when Ghost Rider went toe-to-toe with Aussie I was actually surprised how excited I was for that fight.

I agree, Ghost Rider is a great addition to the show and additionally to the team. He has even made Daisy/Quake even bearable with all her angst. I'm liking how they are not overdoing the Fitz/Simmons stuff both the love angle and the relationship in general.

Ada, The Ghosts, The Book, the Senator and whatever is in her living room will definitely make for great plots the rest of the season.

Great season so far. Can't wait till the next episode. Mack is also becoming one of my favs too.

I was so worried about jumping the shark this season with the addition of ghost rider and the move to later in the night... but this has don far been an excellent and fun ride. Ghost rider has for sure been an awesome add, coming from someone who didn't think much about the character. The delivery of rider has been excellent, as many have said, goosebumps worthy.

Old leather jacket, motorcycle parts, and carnival daredevil poster in the barn where they found the Darkhold...

At least they held it to one argument where they weren't on the verge of breaking up.

Also, while this week was really good (loved Daisy's fight), next week looks to be Ghostrider heavy!

I thought that I noticed that! I haven't had a chance to watch it again and we don't back up when we are watching an episode for the first time....unless it's a "what did they say?" moment.

Actually in the Robbie Reyes story, Johnny Blaze shows up, so there there is a way for Johnny Blaze to be in universe. They are possessed by different demons.

Thought it was a good episode.

One thing I think this show has done really well is make you really dislike characters genuinely. I only want the worst for the senator. Haha.

Simmons really impressed me this episode. Anyone think she ends up as director this season for a little while?

With the exception of May and Coulson, I feel like everyone has improved as actors. The dude who plays Robbie Reyes is really good too.

Excited to see more Ghostrider!

I am getting so tired of every superhero show going to the mopey, loner hero who pushes everyone away to *protect" them, only to have everyone get back together late in the season to defeat the bad guy.

That is a tired and lazy go-to trope, and shows the writers have no imagination.
