What would Kong eat? I doubt a banana is filling him up.
I dont knwo what I expected different, but I was pretty disappointed in Godzilla.Just didnt think there was much to it. Glad to see Kong has a different director.TCTTS said:Gareth Edwards (Rogue One) directed Godzilla. Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) directed Kong: Skull Island. Same producers/studio, not same director. And yeah, Godzilla vs. Kong is currently set for May 29, 2020, a little over a year after the Untitled Godzilla Sequel on March 22, 2019.Quote:
That looks great. I noticed the director did the recent Godzilla movie (which I thought was good). It would be interesting to see, if this movie is successful, the talks of a crossover.
Here's the general plot of Godzilla vs. Kong:TCTTS said:
Yes. As Warner Bros. has it scheduled now...
05.16.2014 - Godzilla
03.10.2017 - Kong: Skull Island
03.22.2019 - Untitled Godzilla Sequel
05.29.2020 - Godzilla vs. Kong
At least one of those dates will likely shift, though.
I agree. I think they shat the bed by showing everything up front. Hollywood find a way to ruin Jaws if it were made today.Aggie_Journalist said:
The first trailer had me excited. This second trailer threw a bucket of cold water on that anticipation.
The tone between the trailers is all different, in large part because of John C. Reilly's character. Introducing evil lizard monsters has me rolling my eyes.
I'll still keep an eye on this, but I'm not nearly as intrigued as I was before.

This is by far my favorite poster of all of these. Love the Apocalypse Now vibe, and I'm wondering what's up with the wrecked B-29 in the lower right.TCTTS said:
A few new posters released as of late as well...
If I see that in the theater it will be the first X-Men movie I've seen in theaters. Just never could get interested enough, and yeah, I've seen them all on DVD and I do actually like the Wolverine character. Still, I may very well see this one in the theater as well.TCTTS said:
Don't forget Logan a week before on March 3. March is insane this year.
How do you think John C. Reilly's character got thereCinco Ranch Aggie said:This is by far my favorite poster of all of these. Love the Apocalypse Now vibe, and I'm wondering what's up with the wrecked B-29 in the lower right.TCTTS said:

So, I guess I'm alone in liking Peter Jackson's version?
