Yeah that was very 300. Still had good action throughout. The most laughable moment for me was that one guy trying to go out honorably with the grenades but got swatted away.

Downloaded this from iTunes last night and it's still a fun movie on the rewatch. Like others on here, I noticed the ridiculous numbers of helicopters in flight compared to the helicopters on deck ratio in the theaters...lo and behold, there's a couple of seconds after they take off from the deck where they show choppers coming off the back of the ship with more in the rear cargo area. It was easy to miss but it was there.

How was the CGI on this one? Not that I'd subject myself to it again, but I fell asleep in the movie because it was so predictable.

Rented it a few weeks ago... yeah I thought it was pretty bad. I pretty much didn't care about any of it the entire time. I think I even laughed a few times because I was so amused by how much I didn't give a crap when something "big" would happen in the movie.

I watched it recently also. I liked it but was not as good as other recent version with Jack Black. Fighting three T-Rexes, COME ON! That is a movie!!!

Oh...and...whoever stated Brie Larson is not hot, they need to have a sit down with a shrink.

This. It's a monster movie but fun.We got it a few weeks ago and actually really liked it. I like Godzilla as well. Out side of the mom thinking it wise to throw her kid on a bus in traffic that would be going over the GGB when the GZ was swimming in and the news was totally on top of it and she left him with a "friend" to take...But ya, you can always find things to complain about. I say shut up and eat the popcorn and have fun.

Can't wait for the band to "get back together" after seeing the EOC scenes.

I finally watched this off my DVR and loved it! Just a fun monster movie well done overall. I'm looking forward to Godzilla in the near future.

I watched this while I was doing chores once and I didn't like it. I think I missed out on half the visuals (good) but caught all the unearned character moments and dialogue (bad). Maybe I should revisit, or just revisit the Kong scenes.
