I don't know if ROTK is the best or worst ending, but it's definitely the most endings.

One of my favorite endings:

Yeh I really liked that too. I tear up every time.

I TOTALLY love the ending of the original bad news bears. From the moment they line up to get their second place trophy with a drum cadence, (with the awkward presentation of the trophy) then throw it back at them and tell them to stick it up their ass. Then a bunch of 12 yo kids start throwing beer around (which they all carried up in the beginning) Something you just won't see in movies today.

I don't know why but it's just a perfect ending to a great movie.

SOLID!

i remember seeing this as a very little kid and thinking "worst ending ever!" (not knowing there was a sequel on the way)

The first thought that came to mind was easily The Godfather. I just think Al Neri closing the door as Kay looks in on Michael was so so fitting and well done.

...end was bittersweet though....yeah Magua got his, but right before that the brit soldier (who was burned/shot) and the son of Chingachgook (pictured) was killed....then his woman who Magua wanted jumped to her death (could she not wait 2 minutes for dad??).... more like a merciful end.

Quit complaining. Jackson could have easily turned that epilogue into a 4th film.

I was shocked.

Unfortunately, I don't think the movie has held up well and I don't know why.
